Lacks clear instructions
This compass feels strong and well made but I was really disappointed with the instructions supplied with it. They are lacking in detail and the few guidelines that are supplied with it are printed in a tiny font on a small folded sheet. Would be impossible to read in poor light in bad weather.Good product, very poorly presented.

Some sort of debris trapped inside
Seems to work most of the time (obviously with compasses you need to keep them away from electromagnetics of any kind) but I have a piece of fluff or maybe even an insect trapped inside the sealed casing. Given the hit and miss nature of compasses down here in the city, it’s difficult to know if it affects the functioning or not. I’ll have to see next time I’m up the mountains.
