This is an early review but I wanted to get my thoughts out there... I've unboxed this and quick tested it. The bobber/transducer and the screen unit both have internal rechargeable batteries which is great, A) because you don't have to keep switching batteries, and B) proper sealing against water intrusion over time. Both batteries seemed to be near full charge out of the box. The bobber/transducer and the receiver unit both seem to be well made, hard plastic, good quality. The antennae is thin and seems it will be easy to break but the unit in my testing seemed to stay connected just fine without raising the antennae. I guess it could come in handy at a long distance. The directions are in good English. I first tested this in a little turtle pond that I have and the depth is pretty accurate. I primarily wanted this for depth finding off the side of my john boat, but it did seem to show fish alerts when fish/turtles were in motion below which is cool. I then tossed it out on the lake as far as I could toss it with the rod I had readily available, maybe 50 ft or so, and it stayed connected perfectly. It reads pretty quick and smooth, enough so that you can read the contours of the bottom while reeling at typical speed. So far this seems to be perfect for what I want to use it for. For the price I figured this might be a little risky and there was a strong possibility it could end up being worthless junk, but so far seems quite the opposite and will be a quality handy tool to have.

Took a minute to figure out how to work it.. i think it some times get confused with grass vs. Fish.

This is my second because I lost the very small magnetic charger. Why does everything have to be different. USB C simply, but nooo you have to have your own type of charge.

Bought it a few weeks ago and been using ever since. Well when ever I go fishing. This little thing work great. For the value of the money of what it cost it's worth it. It easy to use and works better than expected

Had to return it . This item is specifically to be used from a boat of any kind. I needed one thst is Castaneda from a shore

Ok, so off the bat this is a decent product. But when it dies and needs a charge, the transducer won't charge at all. So you get 1 good uelse then it's complete garbage. I can't return since it's past the window. This will be in the garbage. It's absolute crap. Sadly I can't go lower than 1 star.

For the price this a good sounder. It gives the depth, water temperature, shows the bottom and fish alert.

Seems pretty good so far, tech support was very helpful, I found their QR code for the manual didn’t work, I emailed them and Anna was very helpful in getting me the info I needed. I used it on my local fishing lake with my kid, It seems to be somewhat accurate in spotting the water temp, depth and fish location. Didnt help me get any bites, but that’s ok
