Great Product! Strong!
I bought these for my Aunt who was making an acrylic paint pour project that makes 2' fridge magnets once they are dry and the magnetic strip she bought to cut the magnets for the back just didn't hold anything on the fridge. So I bought these for her, and she said they work great!! She loves them- they are strong and made the project look very professional. Will buy again!

small, strong magnets
I bought magnets for my son to hang up his posters in his room. My husband put up metal strips on his walls so that magnets would work. These magnets are strong but small. He puts about 4 along the top of the posters to hang them up, but they are big posters. Maybe he doesn't need as many as that, but it looks fine and he is happy having his posters up.edited : I purchased more of these magnets to hang pamphlets up on notice boards. They are strong, and even if they break in half, they still hold up the pamphlets and brochures.

Great product, packaging inconsistent
Quick shipping, got exactly what we were looking for. We’ve ordered these twice and got two different boxes of the same product. The product was fine but the first time we got a super beaten up box, like it had been around for decades or was resold to us after someone returned it. The second was clean so I didn’t drop the rating, and both times the actual product was fine.

These magnets are thinner and less powerful than I hoped for.
I like the smoothed edges (to avoid scratching) and the polarity indicators on these magnets. On the other hand, these magnets are thinner and less powerful that I had hoped for. This means that they don't "adhere" as strongly to surfaces, especially when there is an intervening material (such as a piece of paper, or a piece of plastic sheet, or even paint) between the magnets and the steel surface. Consequently, when used alone, they may not keep a bulletin securely in place on a bulletin board - especially if there is any draft in the area. They also appear to be only marginally capable of holding a poster board in place, requiring the use of extra magnets for such thicker items. I had anticipated two primary uses for these magnets: One use was for posting normal 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of paper onto steel-backed white boards as notices, where I had envisioned using two magnets, one at each top corner, to hold each sheet of paper. This PROBABLY would work in a draft-free area, but these white boards happen to be along a corridor, where drafts can occur, and even passers-by can create enough "wake" to cause the sheets to shift. Consequently, at least four magnets (one per corner) and even extra magnets around the sides of the sheets, seem to be necessary to keep the sheets of paper firmly in place. When it comes to thicker notices (such as poster board), the thickness of the material seems to weaken the magnetic attraction to the point that they won't hold the posters reliably. The second use that I anticipated for these magnets was to hold saturated paper towels with plastic film vapor-barrier coverings onto non-horizontal steel surfaces, to hold rust treatment liquid against the steel. Like the poster board, the thickness of these layered materials introduces a slight separation between the magnets and the surface, weakening the attraction to the point that the held stuff seems to be able to shift around. That said, with 100 magnets in the set, there are more available to add or "double-up" (that is, stack on top of each other, to strengthen the magnetic attraction and holding power).Overall, these magnets will work OK for "light-duty" applications, but their "power density" is noticeably less than the same-diameter (but 30% thicker) magnets that I've been using previously for these purposes - and that I needed more of. So, if you need a lot of holding power, you'll need to find some stronger magnets (or else use more of them).

not THAT strong
So these are good but not that good. They'll work fine to hang posters and things that arent moving, put stuff on your fridge etc. But hold something that will have any dynamic force? Nope. I need these to hold some clothing shut and they dont work with anything between them thicker than 1 or 2 sheets of paper.

Great Value! Good Quality!
The Magnets work great! All 100 pieces were there. I used them to make custom Refrigerator Magnets and they were easy to glue and didnt scratch the surface when I slid the magnets. I will definately be ordering these again.
