It's not always easy to find the best herbs you're looking for. I feel confident this is a quality product. It seems fresh and not too finely cut. I have numerous tea pots with strainers, some have built in strainers while others have removable strainers, yet others have none at all and I just use an ultra-fine mesh strainer. I never make the same type of tea, so I use all of my pots for various blends. Skullcap is a nervine herb that reduces anxiety as well as soothes the nervous system. In the evening, a great brew of tea is Chamomile, Skullcap, Catnip, and just a bit of mint. The mint helps cut the earthy flavor of the Skullcap and Catnip, while producing a healthy, relaxing tea that will help give you a restful night's sleep. So far, I'm very impressed with this brand. Depending on your use, I would highly recommend it. Keep in mind, Skullcap is an herb you should not give to children or pregnant/nursing women. I am not a doctor; I'm only an herbalist and know what works for me. I will be ordering again.

How could it possibly be better? It looks exactly like the plant would look, that I see around where I live, were it cut and sifted. From Germany: this is the second product that sweeps others aside, from that country. The other is black garlic, with a name like Pharmacon. It tastes great in soup; it works to raise me above myself; high quality is an understatement. Sleep and calmness: improved. Sense of placidity is there; fresh cut easy to see GREEN, and bits of light blue, the flowers. On the plants near where I live, the blue flowers are actually quite small and not many of them, compared to the rest of the plant. I've tried several other Skullcap offerings.

I can't say it helps with sleep, but its very calming. I use for anxiety and it helps a great deal. And compared to other brands this one tasted the best, not that skullcap tastes all that great anyway lol

Very tiny bag for HIGH price. Crazy. Not sure if it's even doing anything. 3 stars as it arrived and seems fresh.
