colors, pretty
I used these colors on cement steps I made for a sidewalk thru my garden. They worked as well as could be expected. Color seems to be holding up after several rainstorms. Put it on the wet cement before it dries. This works better than applying after. I did not choose to mix it with cement as tht is not what I wanted.

Easy to use, good color, low cost.
Please take a look at the pictures. I used this product to make my plaster casting turned grey. It worked fairly consistently. You will notice from the pictures that there was some layering and settling that occured. I have not tried the dye with resin, but the plaster is mixed results. You certainly cannot beat the price.

GREAT substitute for pricy concrete stain in the can!
A few years ago I bought 3 gallons of QuikCrete concrete stain in brown, terra cotta & wheat to dress up the ugly concrete around my pool. Worked nice & holds up to power washing but still needs a touch up every couple of years. And this year needed it badly but the stain was all used up- but I did NOT want to pay $50/gallon for more stain. So I took a chance and bought a couple of bottles of this powdered concrete stain- in yellow & terra cotta- even though I KNEW it was meant to be mixed into concrete -NOT mixed with water & painted on TOP of the concrete. I was pretty sure it wouldn’t work. And I was WRONG. The concrete section in the pic that went from no color to yellow is the powdered stain and everything around it was QuickCrete. And so far it is working way beyond my expectations. Of course it’s too early to tell but I can tell you this- do NOT get it on your skin, or on any surface that you can’t use nail polish remover on to get it off. It does NOT come off in the shower from normal scrubbing. FYI- the yellow in the pic was too bright so I toned it down with a little bit of heavily diluted terra cotta & iI’m very happy with it- I was going for the look of aged stone. Will update review next year to report on how it holds up- but so far I’m thrilled. I paid $9 a bottle instead of $50 gallon and I’m pretty sure the bottle will cover as much as the gallon- the pigment is very concentrated & it’s beautiful.

Not convenient packaging
Normally the product comes in a plastic jar-very easy to use. Today I received a 1 pound package that i need to find a jar for. Not convenient for adding to grout from foil package- what were you guys thinking?!

Amazing pigment
Worked great to color the white grout I had for my mosaic to make a lovely shade of blue. Just needed a little to go a long way. Now I have a bunch left over for the next time I need blue grout!

Hope it works!
3 Stars because I havent used yet but our patio is stamped with a purple irresdicent sparkle! Im hoping when we seal it again we can sprinkle a little between the coats! Our first DIY attempt was not great even though we used the sealer recommended & a power washer it was super shiney wear the original was more satin. U may let a professional do it but it seemed simple enough & we didn't have $600-$800. I'll have the dust.

Love this
I used some molds from Amazon and added several colors of pigments to make the exact color I wanted on some stepping stones. Very easy to use and the look and quality is really good.

Not for pottery.
I used this to color my porcelain clay. It looked beautiful in the green ware stage, however the colorant burned off when my bowl was bisque fired. My bowl was white, not marbled as I had made it. DO NOT buy this for coloring clay. I was extremely disappointed

So disapointing... their product description states that the mix ratio of the powder should be at 10% maximum, but it's not nearly enough to get the right color. It won't reach the right color under 30-40% on mixing ratio, and that would make the cement useless, and it would cost wayyyy more that what is anticipated if you follow their instruction. If you want the color that's showed, be aware that it won't happen... Edit: the company seems to really have at heart their product accuracy, they did take measures to make sure the images really represent their product and will update their page. They take my experience seriously and they have an amazing communication service.

for artists, painters, or construction projects where some color will bring some creativity, this simple blue pigment has a variety of uses. Very consistent powder granule size (very fine), and dissolves easily. I hope the come out with other colors in their pigment line. Very happy. Recommended.
