With or without it's all the same
I bought these after reading how important it is to have isolation for your audio equipment from the furniture/staands it sits on. After I went though all the trouble to download their catalogue for these and buy the right type for the weight of my equipment, I purchased them and it made absolutely no difference in my system. I used them for the DAC and the amplifier. A big difference was observed when I put a weight on my DAC while not using these. I don't use a turntable in my system, so I have no input on that.

Suitable for computer case feet
I have a mid tower gaming PC. It is an older case and the feet have begun to wear out causing some wobble in the tower. Also, being hard plastic feet they seemed to transfer the computer vibrations into the desk and into my arms.I discovered these and decided to try them out mainly for the vibration dampening properties. I removed the original feet and cleaned the bottom with rubbing alcohol. Peeling the adhesive off the bumpers, I spaced out six of these along the bottom. Success! I no longer notice hard drive clacking or vibration hum in the desk. The point I will make on these bumpers is pay attention to the weight PER BUMPER. These will compress if you have overloaded with to much weight. Don't hesitate to slap on a extra pair of bumpers for further weight distribution. They also are not greasy like some of the other versions of these bumpers.Overall seems like a nice product. Time will tell if I experience the bumpers coming loose.

I can now turn up my bass without terrible noise. Reccomendation
Problem solved: Honda Civic 2016 subwoofer reverb and vibration.Product use: placed above the rear break light between the rear window and plastic breaklight covering. Only requires one, but I used 3.solution success: yes, isolated all reverb vibration. I can now turn up my bass without terrible noise.Reccomendation: cheaper than redoing the subwoofer ring, non technical fix for car-dumb folks like me.Downside: visually you see a small half rubber ball in the rear view mirror.

Great for upgrade or repair of turntable isolation.
Excellent product. I use these as replacements for pads on the bottom of the feet for vintage turntables that I am restoring. The original feet are often dry rotting and getting hard. These are much softer and provide far better isolation from vibration that the originals. I have also used the pads as outright replacements for the original feet. They are a solid tweak or upgrade. If I had any complaint it is that the protective paper backing is difficult to remove. Perhaps the manufacturer should consider pre-slitting the backing so that they are easier to remove.

Just perfect.
This absolutely exceeded my expectations. It’s small enough to not be balky, but does much better job than anything I used before. It’s much better than I expected.Used for a long time by now, still stuck to the very spot I attached it in the day 1.Perfect little things.Definitely suggest it.I absolutely will buy again.

Perfect vibration isolators
There are not many of these types of products on the market. Therefore, it's a blessing to find a good quality product for the right task. I use these under the stands I made for my monitor speakers. They work just as I expected. The trick is to select the right size and hardness combination for the weight to be supported PER bumper. Amazon's product page gives you a good idea of the product's rating, but you don't get the whole picture to judge whether that item is the best option for your application. It's a good idea to visit the "Sorbothane hemispheres" product web page and check the alternatives. Then you can come back to Amazon and search for it. You can slightly over load it, but do not ever under load if you want to preserve the isolation characteristics. Also, it's always cheaper to buy a pack of 8 (if you can find of a particular type) instead of two packs of 4 bumpers.

The real deal
I used these on my Martin Logan bookshelf speakers. You can tell that the isolation from the desk is orders of magnitude better than normal rubber pads. I have also used other products from this company when doing car audio installs. If you want actual isolation, this is your product.

I wish I knew about these sooner
These little things are like magic. If you think you can just buy some little rubber pads at the hardware store and get the same effect you're not giving these the credit they're due.I bought them because I just moved and ended up in a position where my A/V receiver and Directv DVR needed to sit right above my subwoofer. I build high performing subs occasionally as a hobby so I knew with this one the vibration would not be good for these components if I dared set them on top of the sub itself. My options were a wall mount component shelf to separate the components from the sub or to try these little guys out and set them right on top of it. At this price I gave them a shot and they have not disappointed. Four pads on the receiver which sits on the sub, and four on the directv box to sit on that. I can set my hand on top of the two while the sub is working and basically feel nothing. 5 stars for my application.

Turntable lovers need this!
It works for real! Had so much skipping while walking around my turntable... this considerably reduce vibrations by 80-90%. Worth it!

Stop vibration transfer effectively, at the cost of stability
Really seem to isolate vibration of speakers from going down into the monitor shelf of my desk. However, once mounted on these, the speakers are not rock solid, so if you're pumping lots of bass the speakers could, in theory, recoil enough to affect imaging.

they wobble like a weeble wobble if you push on them
Too spongy for my speakers ... they wobble like a weeble wobble if you push on them. This may decouple the speaker from the shelf but I'm not sure that the amount of deflection they allow will not hurt sound separation and focus.

Shorathane is a great vibration isolating material
The 3m didn't stick very well and it's a little pricey. Not a lot of suppliers
