Works as advertised, some llimitations
GOOD:1) Remote is great, you can select what fan speed you want without having to cycle through speed settings2) Good instructions for installation3) Comes with spare parts (like wire caps)4) Selectable code so you can have multiple units in different rooms without interferenceBAD1) Receiver is large and barely fit in the area between my fan and the ceiling - a lot of people will have a problem with this2) Only one power wire in, so if your fan is currently wired for two switches (one for fan, one for light), you will only be able to use one of those switches with this unit. So, you will end up only being able to use one switch for both functions, then use the remote to set what you want.

Works Great - Module a tad larger than original
The remote works great and perfect replacement for the original remote. The control module is just a little bit bigger than the original which made it hard to get into the fan mounting bracket. I was able to get it in, but had to force it in.
