Solid, steady, well built.
I can see why this gets top reviews. It is well designed and built. The tray is great with non slip pad, raised edges, tilt and hold down straps for a projector. It is not a heavy commercial product but is quite stable. Highly recommended. Price is great. Screws work well. I could not totally lock up the tilt, but was solid enough.

Good stand but could be better
This table top stand is a nice and sturdy stand but lacks one thing. It doesn’t fold completely down from what I can see. There’s a height attachment pole that lets you make it higher but it doesn’t seem to recess inside the main tripod stand. Which doesn’t make sense to me. Why go through all the trouble and then not make the pole wide enough to complete tear down. As for the table Itself, it’s pretty sturdy to hold a projector or laptop even sound mixer with no problem. It doesn’t fold completely have a tilt option which I can see it come in handy with a projector. Me, I’m using it to place a laptop and an audio interface. So I won’t be needing to tilt it. It doesn’t fold completely come with a carry bag for the stand but not the table itself. Again. Why? I like the cellphone holder option. That’s handy when using presentations or needing to record live performances or use it for other reasons with your device. So, tha part is nice. It comes with some elastic straps to hold your gear down. They have a decent tension to them. The foam padding is thin and it’s very easily worn down with time. I can tell. Maybe replace it with a dense foam mat like a yoga mat type of foam. Doesn’t have to be thick. But for what I need it, it’s fine. Do the price, it’s not bad compared to a music table stand worth $180. The adjustability of it is ok but could be better if the two height poles fit into one another. It does extend pretty high so that really good for protecting images or in my case as a musician, having your accessories handy and at good reach.

Exactly what I needed, and sturdy if you build it correctly.
I noticed many of the reviews which complained about stability and included pics or video -- it was obvious the tripod was not set up correctly. It's important to set the legs as shown in the product photo. Unfortunately, the tripod allows you to extend the legs past the stability point, so you must ensure they are angled properly, then tighten down the clamp. Build quality is sufficient for this price point. The metal is thinner than more expensive options, but if you're careful with the set up and how you tighten down the clamps and bolts, it will serve it's purpose well. Because the clamps are plastic, over tightening could cause cracks eventually. I've seen it happen with other cheap tripods and stands I've used for studio lighting and backdrops when people really crank down on it. Should be snug, but doesn't require too much extra strength applied. The instructions included are fairly simple, but show two methods of setting up this stand. The default configuration is the taller format, but you can swap the clamps and exclude the center pole which allows the stand to be shorter for use on a table or desk. For me, this is the better option where I'm using a projector. The taller configuration works well too, though I felt like the weight of your projector will then have more influence on stability when the center of gravity is raised too much. Overall, I'm very pleased with this stand and it was perfect for my uses. Easy to set up, and more than enough stability for the simple projector I'm using. The tray is large enough for a larger home theater projector, but I'm using a fairly small one. The larger or heavier your projector, the more I would recommend looking for a heavier duty stand.

Little stability/very low weight limit
Does its job but not too well. No real stability and you can’t use the maximum height if your projector weighs more than 2lbs.

This is very small and flimsy. Unusable for my purpose.
