This fountain was working pretty well though my punk cat still found it easy to tip over. I ended up super gluing weights to the bottom to make it impossible for him to pull over. It also got pretty darn noisy if it wasn't 100% full, so I got used to filling it up every other day.Unfortunately, like many other reviewers, my pump stopped working suddenly after 4 months. Tried to find details on opening the pump up to see if cleaning it would fix it, but gave up after seeing a common 4 month dead theme on these reviews.I'm going to look at a more expensive fountain this second time around. It just might be worth all the hassle.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I’ve had this fountain for a couple of months now and was a bit nervous Murphy wouldn’t use it. Luckily, he uses it all the time! It was very easy to assemble and the filters are affordable. It has made my life easier because I’m not always worried about whether or not Murphy has clean water- something I would worry about before because he’s such a messy eater. Murphy had the same water and food bowls sitting next to each other which was a problem because he is a messy eater. He would often get food in the water bowl which would then get soggy and well, dirty but I would not be able to change it until I got home. Since the fountain is at a higher level, I don’t have to worry about that. Overall, I am happy with this product and that the refills are affordable. It is also quiet. Sometimes when the water level gets low it makes a different sound but then you just refill it. Simple, easy, and cute!

When I first received the fountain it had a small crack in the green plastic piece. I was confused on how that was possible with how safely it was packaged. I didn't return it because it was still functional. It was just annoying that it basically came broken. The second thing is that the yellow portion of the flower is IMPOSSIBLE to remove! So my cat was unable to test if she liked that drinking feature. The mat that came with it had a faded print on it and it had a chemical smell to it. I threw it away because it looked so cheap and I could not get over the smell. I wanted to love this product because I've been wanting my cat to try it. With its flaw and the fact that my cat refuses to drink from it, it is not a product for my home.

My cat is usually afraid of running water but I know that a fountain is better for her than a bowl since the water runs through a filter and it sits up higher so she doesn’t have to lean down to drink, which I know can be an issue when animals get older. I was also tired of her knocking her old water bowl over every day and this one is too big for her to do that. She’s quirky so when I first hooked it up, she kept looking between it and myself like she was not sure which to be mad at. Now she drinks from it without glaring though I think she still misses being able to knock her old water bowl over.Easy set up and I didn’t really even read the instructions other than on how to clean it regularly.

my cat has always insisted on getting water straight from the faucet; this is the first water system that she will use. My other cat absolutely loves it! It isn't super simple or difficult to clean; just be sure to have enough filters

I'm annoyed because I took care of it as was instructed. A few months after getting it, I took the motor out to clean it and when I put it back in - it never turned back on. It wasn't the first time I had cleaned it so I know I didn't do anything to harm it. I wish there was a way to get a new motor.

it started making loud noise in 1 month ... stopped working in almost 3 months. No auto shut of system when water runs low sometimes just air out without water.

my cat could give a crap!! she refuses to stop knocking water over in cups buckets --u name it she has knocked it over- u would think this would encourage new behavior but she hasnt cared at all - wasted my money for a decoration.. so sad

Company sent full refundI decided to wait a while before posting a review. The item is pretty to look at but its very loud. I can hear it from my living room which is up some stairs and a room over. A bit too loud that my cat stays away from it.

Both of my cats love this fountain and I am a happy owner of both. Easy to fill and the filters do their jobs

It took a few days for my cats to finally get the courage to use it, they were very curious. My oldest cat, loves it. She’s drinks from it all the time. And it’s cute.
