Gin Making Kit - Make your own Gin at home in under a week!

The mix of herbs and spices was very nice. They smelled like a nice gin. However, after soaking the blend for several days per the instructions, I thought the result was ok but a bit mild. I tried to extend the soaking time by another day or two, but it did not increase the flavor. It would be a bit expensive, but next time I might try using 2 packs.

I received the first as a gift and it was fun to make. But after trying the gin I purchased several more for friends and they like it also. I used good vodka and it's the Best gin I've ever had.

Gave this to a friend and we did it together. Was fun to track progress over time and enjoy the final result. Superb.

We really enjoyed the taste of the gin we made with this kit and it was a lot of fun to do.

Be warned! This does not give a great enough yield! We got this to make gin gifts for our loved ones this Christmas. Now that the gin has been made and tasted (thoroughly!) we have decided that we don’t like our family enough to part with the gin! We are however now experimenting with flavours and making another batch which *may* be gifted. Otherwise it’s socks for everyone. Incredibly easy to make and beautiful to drink. Just be aware to buy 2 packs if you intend to part with the gin you make!

My wife is something of a gin aficionado, so I was very interested to see that I could make her some. We bought this kit, then nipped to our local Aldi and bought a bottle of their cheapest vodka. The juniper berries were added, then two days later the remaining ingredients went in. On the fourth day we strained the contents of the bottle and tried it. We were both pleasantly surprised. Adding a slice of lime made it even better.I'd definitely recommend this kit. It's quite exciting making the gin and waiting for it to mature. I'm sure another kit will be ordered before too long.

The most fun I’ve had with a bottle of vodka and some dodgy looking leaves since I was about 15.The kit is self explanatory and it’s just such a good but simple idea. Watching the various stages involved and the gins transformation from clear to the colour of cats pee (sorry if tmi but best be prepared for this) to then something that resembles the bottom of a fish tank is “interesting”, but don’t be put off - even at this point it smells SO damn good... The filtering turned out to be a little messy, but we had straws on hand for any spillages, and we gave it a second filter at about 10 days.The end result was surprisingly good. Well, actually, not wanting to boast, it was brilliant. A seriously nice bottle of gin 🍸For the craic alone though it’s worth the money...

Combined this kit with a £9.99 bottle of vodka from Lidl, resulting in a light tea colour, but the perfect aroma of gin. So considering selling the result for £30 a time to make a huge profit....no wonder gin making is so popular. I'll be a millionaire before you know it!

Very very disappointed with this kit. Could have easily purchased the contents of the kit from the local supermarket for a fraction of the cost.Purchased for a gift but will not be giving it, it looks like I paid no more than £2-£3 at the very most
