Some of the foods were items I didn't like or knew they upset my digestive system
I took this test because I noticed I was getting a few hives occasionally after working in the yard. One of the environmental factors it picked up was in my backyard where I had been working. Some of the foods were items I didn't like or knew they upset my digestive system. I have avoided some of the foods that showed a high percent of intolerance and do feel better. Glad I tried this before needing further tests from the doctor's office.

Unaccurate
I made two tests with 2 months difference using different names. First one had some right things but I decided to repeat to check if I really should avoid the allergens forever. When the results arrived from the second test all allergies were different, there are around 15 items in each and none of them match.

Don't waste your money on this test...
After ordering a test for myself, my husband and my daughter, I decided to do a little more research on hair testing for allergies (wish I would have done this before I ordered-- stupid me!), and have basically come to the conclusion that hair testing is one of the LEAST accurate ways to test for allergies. If you ask me, it's not worth your time. And, here is why:1. I initially ordered the test for myself because I had a rash on my hand for about a year that wouldn't go away. Shortly before ordering the test, I stopped eating all nuts, and it cleared up within a week! I wanted to get an allergy test done anyway so that I knew for sure it was nuts (I didn't want to avoid them for the rest of my life it that wasn't even the problem). When I got the results back, nuts were NOT listed as an intolerance for me (YAY!) so I starting eating them again.... and guess what, the rash came back.2. My husband already knows he has a shellfish allergy (his hands swell up big time), but that didn't show up on his test. Hmmmm....3. I find it kind of odd that "bread, baguette" was on the list for me. So just bread?? Baguettes, specifically? What about crackers or pasta? Did they mean gluten? I'm confused. This seems really vague to me. In fact, all of the results were vague and disappointing.4. Cats were listed as an intolerance for my daughter, but she sleeps with our cats every night and has no known allergies or symptoms to anything. I simply ordered the test for her out of curiosity.5. The list of foods that came back on all of our test results as intolerances have never been a problem for us. But the foods that DO seem to be problematic for us, DID NOT show up on our results. To be fair, I don't think any allergy test is 100% accurate. The only way to know for sure if your body is reacting to something is through trial and error. In my experience, you have to eliminate one thing from your diet at a time that you suspect may be a problem for several weeks, and then see if you experience any improvement.

Highly Recommend!
Very satisfied with knowing the results but not happy with the intolerances...sort of knew I might have intolerances to dairy...this test reinforced that by showing many different dairy items...some answers were a little vague so I called the phone number to get more information and Lisa (co-owner of company) answered the phone and thoroughly answered my questions. Very impressed. After 1 month, I will start to reintroduce certain items and see how I do...

Not really worth it
Didn't test for ALLERGIES. I received results for only intolerances. Didn't test for some very common foods I would have expected.

Not accurate and the results are nothing like shown on Amazon.

Beneficial
Ordered for the whole family (5 people). The results came quickly. Turns out, we are alike but very different. It will take some time to implement, but we received some very interesting information. Very reasonable, I recommend the test for anyone who wants to know and understand more about their body.
