I liked the bird feeder, however, it was much smaller than expected.I want to return it.

This is my second purchase. I really like the bird feeder because it is easy to clean. We have a variety of birds and they all seem to like this feeder best. The cardinals are the most frequent users of this particular feeder.

While the feeder is the size I wanted, I was disappointed for 3 reasons, 1. The locking top is difficult to lock after it has been filled, 2. Bottom holes do not allow the larger bird seeds and nuts to pass thru and 3. The top is not large enough to keep rain water out and it has to be cleaned after each rain.

This thing is absolute trash. A small squirrel jumped on it and the entire thing fell apart. Lasted about a day. The thread that is supposed to let the feeder hang comes undone easily, causing catastrophic failure. Don't waste your money.

I rarely give a bad review and feel very badly about this one. Normally, I just chalk it up to a learning experience and recognize that not everyone has the same perspective. I should have sent it back after the first (only) time filling it. I found it almost impossible to get the top back on without spilling most of the seed and even empty it is a challenge. To make matters worse, the top is to small to cover the tray in order to keep the seed dry. Also, the opening to allow the seed to flow properly into the tray is inadequate. Today was trash day and that is exactly where this bird feeder went. Very disappointed.
