Great game please read and ignore all 1 star reviews
great game at a great price. You cannot beat 20 bucks fot a AAA game release with great voice acting. It has all the original characters voices from many series, with over 28 characters from dead or alive, to nioh and even atelier and many more. Its a dynasty warriors type game with many new additions that make it very fun and challenging only if you choose to raise the difficulty. Missions arent as long as dynasty warriors missions even though the maps can be as big and there are maps from all the different games that the characters represent. They even have the casino from rio as a map. The characters are all original with japanese voices and the actual English voice actor for william from nioh, and the rest are japanese since thats how those games were originally released before hitting the states and the subtitles and translations are done very well and arent cheesy like a lot of translations can be, getting lost trying to identify with american slang (which doesnt work hence a lot of annoying not accurate anime translantions) arent present and instead are very close to the real meaning without losing accuracy and understanding. Overall its a great game with over 15 different endings. The best part of the game is you can take up to 4 other characters with you being able to control and switch on the fly and each one has special moves seperate from you mosou attack that you can use when not controlling the character from sgields to attacks to buffs. There is no free mode because its not needed, instead there is a world map where you can do numerous types of missions to your hearts content with everything carrying over. Only downside is the actual main story missions cant be replayed without starting a new game plus, which is does not outweigh all the plus. I think having all these unique characters and their attacks and weapons was executed amazingly, having way more diversity in character types than any other mosou game out there, each one being very different. There is no online which again is not needed for this type of game. Overall id give this game 9 out of 10 and chose 5 stars since it leans closer to that than 4 stars, especially with the price being 20 bucks. Ignore all the 1 and 2 star reviews because they either bought this expecting something else or did not give it a chance. For what was advertised and promised this game excells in every regard and is a must buy for any mosou fans or tecmo koel fans of any of the games included, which is over 8 different game types, you will be surprised. And don't fret over which character to start with like i did because you will unlock half of them on any playthrough and can unlock all of them if you proceed to the true end route. Id advise playing first time without a guide and then use a guide for seperate endings after your first playthrough, and don't worry about all the branching parts of the story you can beat certain endings really fast if you play on easy and speed through or do side stuff like i did and have 30 hours in and only beat one ending so it caters to every gamer timewise in that regard. Overall i highly recommend this game and you will not be disappointed in mosou stars, or warriors all stars in english.

The best budget dynasty warriors you'll never play.
I had to rewrite this review and because I actually played this game for 20 more hours and had to come back and give it 5 stars. It doesn't have multiplayer like every other Dynasty Warriors game does, it doesn't have a free mode like every other Dynasty Warriors does, and it doesn't have Guan Yu like every other Dynasty Warriors does. So what's so great about this game? Well there's a bunch of characters, there's some Fox man people and a bunch of swords, magic and exciting explosions. One character even has a move where you summon a whale to drop from the sky onto enemies. There's nothing quite so hilarious as seeing somebody hit with a train and then being smashed in the head from the sky buy a giant blue whale. Most of the time I find myself laughing but you'll have to play through this game three times if you want access to all the characters in the entire roster. Some characters are locked to their stories and cannot be used while you're playing on another story. At level 20 is when a character has all their moves unlocked and there is move canceling so you can interrupt any move and make your own combos. This is hilarious because I like to drop bombs, shoot out trains and then summon a nice whale to finish things. For some reason this game gives you the option to play as 5 character simultaneously and it looks just as ridiculous as it sounds. Every time you press a button all of the characters do the same combo. Things are so dazzling in this game I also recommend the purchase of sunglasses so you can postpone blindness.Don't bother trying to make sense of the story, you'll hurt your brain. Here is Warriors All Stars plot, abridged: Three foxman people summon Koei/Tecmo heroes in a war where you press four buttons repeatedly to win. The end. The game allows you to skip all story features and I suggest you do so. 'Battle Rumors' should be the only thing you ever need to read in this games content to make it fun, otherwise reading is just a painful experience.

I love the Warriors games
I love the Warriors games. I've played literally every Dynasty, Samurai, and Orochi Warriors game. I've played Berzerk, One Piece, Fist of the North Star and Gundam Muous games as well. Warriors All Stars is probably my least favorite entry out of all of these. There are too few characters (if they were fun to play as 30 would be enough), few different objectives, and a serious lack of excitement. I hate to give a Warriors game a bad review, but I've already stopped playing this one. I highly recommend musou fans stay away from this one.

Only good for Marie Rose and Honoka fans, otherwise buy Senran Kagura
This is an average hack and slash game which is inferior to Senran Kagura EV and Onechanbara Z2.Main issues for me: No ability to pick your own characters to play with - at least for many hours in the beginning. No equipment upgrades. The screen gets crowded very quickly and you often lose your target in the crowd. Bad difficulty design. Some battles can kill you with one blow, even when over leveled and on Beginner - which is beyond ridiculous. Controls are not intuitive. Special moves miss their target most of the time. You don't keep your gains if you lose a battle, so life wasted is not rewarded. Steep learning curve - tutorial is terrible. Enemies can get you even when you attack them from behind.I got this for Marie Rose and Honoka but KT were very lazy here and added little content.
