Had no problems using these for my mom's 60th birthday party. Everyone loved the aesthetic, and they held up very well for everything we ate. No splintering or breaking, no weird tastes, no complaints. :)

Yes, the forks have a spork-like quality, but that is clearly to keep the tines strong. Yes, it is a little like eating with a popsicle stick. If you are expecting the texture or taste of plastic, you will be disappointed. But if you are familiar and comfortable with the Hoodsie cup spoons of old, you will be happy with these.I bought them to test for an upcoming event. In a home of 6 including 4 teenagers, not one utensil has broken. The knives are surprisingly strong and cut well. The forks works just fine even with their short times, on the bright side it encourages smaller bites. I am very happy with these.

Definitely an improvement on plastic, but not perfect. Fine for most everything... maybe not quite there for steak. With steak I broke the first fork but learned not to push too hard. Loved that they were biodegradable...did not taste like a tongue depressor. Almost a 5.

The cutlery is everything it is supposed to be. It is also clean, easy to use, and compostable. It does seem though that people need to adjust to the difference. Compostable cutlery made from plant fibers are not as sturdy as the wooden, but they feel more like plastic. We are just accustomed to that feel. I think it best that we all stick with the wooden cutlery and get ourselves adjusted.

This wooden cutlery was the Perfect touch for my seasonal party. I even added a little design at the end of each peace which gave the party that extra spark of excitement for the decor. I like being eco-friendly to and the product is so sturdy and cost-effective too.

Obviously, the fact that this set was biodegradable was an important factor for me. I often host game nights or dinners at my home and it's easier to offer guests disposable cutlery. Using up that much plastic each time used to make me sad, and this is a great alternative! They are very sturdy, I have yet to see one break because of the food.

When a product is excellent by itself, they are affordable enough to take a chance, once you purchase them you’ll be sold, also having a friendly and attentive company backing the product up, just makes the experience better. These utensils are so vastly superior to plastic that the two shouldn’t be spoken of in the same sentence. , I will use these be using from now.

Pretty idea but left o funny taste in your mouth. I used the tableware for rehearsal BBQ dinner with a rustic theme and thought it would add to the decor but I had family comment that they didn’t care for them. Rather use decorative plastic.
