Q: How tall is the 9oz bottle? Yes I see that it says 8.25" but that is the same as for the 12 oz..

My bottle is 7 1/2 inches tall.

Q: Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes it's dishwasher safe but it has a small opening so it won't get cleaned very well

Q: Why "not intended for use with carbonated drinks"? Can I use it with Nuun electrolyte tablets in water, which cause water to be slightly effervescent?

The carbon dioxide in the drink has nowhere to go and can add a lot of pressure which can ruin the seals of the water bottle. Not sure about electrolyte tablets though.

Q: Is there a way to get a replacement cap?

I would just order another thermos. You don,t need the cap all the time.
