This was much easier to install than the static cling alternative and more effective than curtains since it covers the whole window and reflects more light. My picture shows regular blackout curtains on the left and this product on the right - covering the smaller window. Just covering the two small windows in that room helped cool it down a bit. My only problem was not being able to iron out the creases but that didn't affect it anyway since I pulled it right when sticking it to the dots on the wall. It would have been a bit easier to measure precisely if I could have made it totally flat but that didn't seem worth taking off a star, especially since it maybe possible but I was too nervous to increase the heat on my iron past the very low "synthetics" setting. I was impressed by how easy it was to cut without damaging this very thin fabric. It didn't fray at all when I used scissors, exacto knife, or a sliding paper cutter. The dots are very sticky but I was able to reposition the one that I accidentally put on the painted wall in the wrong place (without damage to wall or loss of adhesive power). The Velcro also sticks to each other very tight and seems to be high quality. I have not tried using the other adhesive dots yet.

I do like this product. It was east to cut to fit my window. It isnt fancy by any means but does the job of blacking out the room so I can sleep during the day. It is easy to install with the little stickers and they hold well. Also they dont cause any damage to walls. Good value.

These have been super helpful in keeping the sun and heat out of the bedroom, which unfortunately has full sun in the hot afternoons. I ended up using pushpins instead of bothering with the stick ons that were included since it just seemed easier and the curtains are over the blackout sheets anyway.

The material itself is 100% blackout, but you won't get 100% blackout in your room with the included mounting velcro dots. There will be some light leak around the edges. They still block the majority of the light and a bit of heat in rooms with major sun exposure, though. Even with prep I still have sections where the adhesive didn't stick well to the glass and corners of the curtain will fall down. A fresh piece of velcro fixes the issue, at least for a while.

Arrived quickly. Came with clear double stick dots and Velcro dots. As other reviewers have mentioned those options for hanging are pretty worthless. I am guessing why they put in a small stapler as well, but I don’t think I will be using that. In fact as I am typing this review one of the dots has fallen off the window again. I think I have some better quality double stick on hand, but if you plan on purchasing also plan on having a plan to mount your curtain other than the ones provided. It is similar in thickness and weight to a decent heavy duty shower curtain liner. The curtain itself is pretty effective. The size was accurate as described. It blocks out the light very well and the heat does feel significantly less providing a similar effect that I was getting using a reflective bubble wrap type of material before which was more cumbersome to use and store. As other reviewers mentioned there was definitely a very strong odor but I expected that so I hung it up outside overnight to air out and it worked perfectly to eliminate the smell. There are a half dozen or so extremely small pin holes in the material. It is not an issue for me but some might find that to be an issue. I will be purchasing again. I have a plan to simply ise it to line the curtains in the windows in our RV to help with the intense summer sun in our motorhome.

Has so many uses. I get really bad migraines. I have tried so many different black out curtains, drapes etc THEY DON'T WORK. I can't have any lights. With most products you are going to get a line across the top or sides that lets in light. But NOT with this stuff. I can Cut it to ANY size or shape I need. It comes with a Velcro set-up that takes seconds to turn a bright room to feeling as if you're underground. The Velcro makes moving it, or pulling up 1 side so EASY

Completed the desired task. That’s all the positives I have. It’s not easy to install because the panel comes with dots all over it already, completely randomly placed, and I didn’t have enough leftover with the default packaging to create new spots on the panel, and ripping up the existing ones to to reposition them was too much effort, plus it was destroying the adhesive so I couldnt put them back on. Why do you not just package them with no dots pre positioned and let me place them????? This entirely defeats the purpose! and the adhesive literally fell apart and came undone AS I was putting it on my window, not even long enough to get the damn thing hung. I did it, but it’s barely hanging on by three dots alone. I’ll probably be replacing this with something better in the future. UPDATE: while typing the review it fell apart. If I could rate no stars, I would.
