Q: What is the temperature rating on this jacket?

Not sure if it was given a temperature rating! I wear this jacket all the time, it is a wind proof jacket, and that is true! It keeps me very warm no wind gets through, so it is extremely well made! I wear it in temperatures 40 degrees and upward, and keeps me warm. I also wear it under my down jacket when temperatures drop in the 20’s and 30’s, I often are warmer than needed! I hope this helps, I love my North Face jacket, to me it was well worth every penny!

Q: Will it zip into a tri-climate jacket shell?

I’m not sure. As This was a gift for someone. From what I was told jacket is great for cool windy weather.

If you are calling extreme cole -20C, this isnt the Jacket that you are looking for.

It’s a stand-alone jacket. I love it and wore it to the office and while skiing
