Just arrived and I’ve already used it-excellent tool! I have a 12 inch culvert so I bought a 10 inch tool. That way I had a little room on each side. I bought 1/2 inch pipe in two sections (6’ and 4’) to make it easier to use at first. It has a little flex so it will slide over the dirt and straightens out when you pull it out. So glad I found it.

This is one great invention. I had one problem, my culvert had filled with mud/dirt and had started roots before I knew it was clogged. The tool slid right in like it was supposed to but got hung on the roots. The problem was it was strong and so was the roots. Thought I was going to break it, but after repeated forceful pulling, the root gave in first. Don't expect to pull a lot out with it. Most debris will slide around or over and you will have to repeat the process, but it is easy for most applications and well worth it.

Removed one star for price alone! If it came with the pole/handle for the same price, would be perfect. Did its job and cleaned out the culvert. Was fighting trying to unclog it for some hours, and decided to buy this. Unclogged it in no time! Only costed $70! Wow. The price still gets me. Good high quality metal, I believe it will take some beating for it to break!Overall it did what its meant to do! Satisfied with the product

Had a 20ft long culvert that was almost completely clogged with dirt. I used this from both ends and then screwed the two pipes together for a final sweep in one direction. It would have been impossible or costly to do this any other way. Very happy I purchased and used this to get ready for winter weather.

Could not possible use this part since the execution is too weak for my application.Need to return this item which I have not even attempted to try.

Works as I expected after attaching a metal pole with fittings at the end for a handle. Works great!

The manufacturers need to provide a little more info for this product. I have a 12 inch culvert filled more than halfway with red dirt (dense clay, hard to shovel, much less move horizontally with a tool on a 10 ft pipe). I deduced that a 12" tool would not work properly and I would need something slightly smaller than the culvert diameter. So I bought the 10" tool. Well, the 10 inch tool is 8 1/2 in diameter, which is not large enough to efficiently remove dirt from a 12"pipe. Took twice as many passes as it should have. If I had purchased the 12" tool, I assume it would be 10 1/2 inches, which would be about right. The website needs to explicity include precise specs for the various tool sizes.

Impressed, worked perfectly on a south Louisiana culvert.
