Edit: I ended up buying the brown and blue also, three years later I'm still using them. Buy a case, take care of them and you shouldn't have any issues. Great glasses, I use them daily. I mainly use the brown, they don't look black. No scratches, but I take care of mine and they're in a case when I take them off.These are really cute and they work great. I mostly need them to drive and watch TV but they're comfortable and I just wear them everywhere. Great for the price. I use these over my prescription glasses because they're much lighter and larger.If you can't see with them, you need to make sure you have the right strength. They don't cause any distortion. My eyes felt tired when I first put them on, for about ten minutes, then I adjusted and they work perfectly. Excellent glasses for the price, I don't see myself getting more expensive prescription glasses anytime soon, I'd rather grab another pair of these.Since my first purchase, I've bought the other two colors. I get a lot of compliments on the blue. I love this brand, they're excellent! So comfortable and they work great.

Very good glass

This is my second pair in a different color. Brown looks like black. The frames arrived bent and have manufacturer defects. Will be returning.

I am using these for computer screen use, and didn't want to spend eyeglass $ on them. I chose 1/2 the strength of my distance glasses, and these work very well. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. I suppose these work best for someone like myself whose right and left vision is the same or almost the same.

These lightweight glasses look good and are well priced, however, mine did not hold up under normal use. One stem broke off near the hinge. I bought these as a "bridging" pair after a cataract operation on one eye, so wasn't looking to keep them for a long period. However, they broke in between my right eye operation and my left eye operation--a couple of weeks! So can't recommend for long-term.

I am very fair so the black look of these was a dealbreaker for me. Note you can easily see they are brown when sitting on a white surface (as in the photos) or with light behind it. But the darkest (densest color) part of the frames is the bit right around the lens, and that is what everyone will see. These frames appear dark, even black, when worn. Also unexpected - not a dealbreaker - was the fact that these frames are HUGE. To me, 'oversized' means not like regular glasses - and the current fashion for regular glasses is to be very low in height and diminutive just as reading glasses would be. But that's not the case with these. If you're old enough, think of Gina Lollobrigida or Sophia Loren sunglasses back in the 60s and 70s. Very nice in sunglasses. Not so much in regular distance-vision glasses you wear all the time (imho). Anyway, they are very lightweight and it is very easy to see with them, and best of all no moving nosepads so you can push them up into your hair when doing close work without them getting caught. That part's good. But I have returned these and am looking primarily for a lighter-color poly frame that is kinder to my skin and hair tones without being a firm color commitment (e.g., not light blue or multicolor, but maybe a softer brown or even a distinguished navy blue).

My husband had cataract surgery recently. After he had surgery on both eyes, he needed to wear -2.0 glasses until he healed and was able to order a new prescription. I ordered 1 pair, and they were late getting here. I was able to order a different pair that were delivered much sooner. He has since received his new Rx glasses. He will take these to his ophthalmologist so that anyone that is unable to purchase their glasses they will be able to use these.Thank you very much. I have three pairs now so I can always fine one of them! Light, comfortable, lenses clean up great. For this price I’m never paying for regular glasses again. No eye strain

They are not $500 glasses, but they are perfect. They fit amazingly and are huge so nice big view that you forget you're wearing them. Amazing as every day wear and also as a back up pair!

I only use them for night driving periodically and they work awesome I use the - 25 just strong enough and they are light and comfortable.
