easy to use spring hose clamp
good tool to have ! ive always fought spring load hose clamps. these worked great. very reasonable price. should have bought years ago!

The Flying E - Clip
One of the e-clips, the one holding the cup anvil, was sketchy to start, and after a couple of uses of the pliers, flew off into parts unknown. I was unable to locate a 1/8" e-clip at any local hardware stores, and ordering a bag of them online would make these pliers no longer a good deal. The fix was to cut a 3/4" length of 14 AWG solid copper wire, and wrap it around the post, then squeezing the wire into the groove around the post. The result is much better than the factory design using e-clips.Note that pliers of this design don't work well with small hose clamps, as each ratchet step represents about a 1/2" difference in opening width at the plier tips. Otherwise, what's not to like?

Simple to use
The quality and simplicity of this product makes it easy to remove metal ties without running the risk of damaging anything.I am satisfied with the product.

Doesn’t fit well in tight spaces
Not that agile in a cramped space. Tips must be straight on the tongs of the clamps to be effective. Otherwise the tips of the tool just slip off the tongs of the hose clamp. Works fairly well in most places under the hood.
