Merry Christmas???
Well I ordered black pants and got a tacky black Santa Christmas sweater. I needed the pants for work, and would lose my job if I showed up in this thing but I'm totally keeping it. Thanks for the screw up, guess I'll have to order another pair of pants.

The Holy Grail of Chinos?
I've been shopping hard for the ultimate khaki chinos at the sub $50 price. I'm trying to standardize on everyday pants and don't like to wear jeans to work. They need to be tough enough for chores, stain resistant, not too wrinkly and comfortable in a desk chair and not too skinny or too wide. I've tried at least a dozen different makes and models recently, including the Amazon private brands. Most failed in various ways like easy to stain, flimsy, etc. Notably, I thought I found the holy grail in the Banana Republic Emerson Chinos, but three pairs failed in various ways with light wear. Volcom Men's Frickin Modern Fit Stretch Chino Pant come close with their thick fabric and double stitching, but they're too skinny below the knees for me. These Izod's seem very good. I've bought two pair and have been wearing for about a month. I'll update the review if they fall apart, but so far they are holding up well despite the single stitching and no stains. These are lightweight and not comparable to twill work pants, they're a bit breezy and probably good for summer. I wouldn't wear them to put a roof on a house, and probably not to a fancy restaurant, but for everyday light duty they're more respectable than Dockers. Also of note, They have a bit of a sheen (maybe the coating) and some loose threads that needed trimmed, and also there is variation in sizing, I order two pairs in the same size and they both fit differently. I paid <$25 per pair on Amazon, but the price fluctuates daily and I've seen them as high as $60. On the Izod website today I just saw them <$25. ->>>>update...almost a year in and 6 pairs later...the seams tend to fail, and the pants are not warm at all in the cold weather... and in general, they don't wear very well. Maybe my expectations are just too high for khaki pants.

Do Not Buy. As simple as that.
I've owned lots of Izod products throughout the years. Never had a quality issue. Fit was great, generous room, they are a relaxed fit. Wore these to work and less than 10 minutes into my shift I hear a loud rip. I had crouched down to get some supplies and the crotch blew out on these pants. The pants weren't tight, I wasn't performing an extraneous activity. These pants couldn't hold up to the lightest of use. Do not buy these pants. The only other pair of Izod pants I've owned lasted about a year before the stitching on the legs gave out. The cost of these pants do not match the quality that you would expect.

Get a pair of Dockers instead
These pants are alright. Obviously everyone will have a different fit, but it seemed to me that the shape of them was a bit unnatural. I do also think that the IZOD logo above the back pocket detracts from the professionalism of them. I find that the Dockers straight cut fit me way better and seem to be of higher quality also. I bought these because they were cheaper (just for the brown color-- normally the same price), but keep your eyes out for a pair of Dockers and I think you'll like them better.

Great pants
I was surprised to find waist size 35 inches - which fits me perfect. These are nice quality pants imo. They are a little thick compared to my other j-crew chinos, so they can be a little warm in throes of summer but by no means unbearable as I'm still wearing them on 90 degree days. For me, wrinkle free is becoming a necessity and these work great. Love the color - also bought them in khaki.

Runs large but nice
Ordered these for my son cause he had a presentation at school, he never wears slacks but I used his measurements from his jeans. The pants wear probably 2-3 inches to big in the waist and the same for the length. Maybe all casual pants are sized differently then jeans but I figured 32 inch waist would be the same? Added a belt and tucked the pants at the bottom. They were super soft and comfy he said, which was good cause he was not feeling uncomfortable. I would buy these again and do my own measurements prior to my order.

Great fit for a low price.
. I am an active male who finds it hard at times to find well fitting pants. These pants leave enough room in the thigh to be extremely comfortable and they are also very comfortable around the waist. They run true to size and are at an extremely attractive price point. Great product. Love everything about these slacks.

Good value for me
Given what I paid, this khaki chino was a good value for me. Mine is 32x29, and the first thing I do is measure the outer seam which is correct at 38 inches. I put it through its first wash immediately, tried it on again, and the dimensions held. I have been wearing it through its first week, and I am completely satisfied. The quality of the seams is good, but not super. I could wear it through a casual business meeting, but being retired I don't need perfection; the people I meet at Costco or Trader Joe's don't care. Right now I have no idea how long these will last.Since I wrote my original review, I find that this chino is too snug for me in the crotch area. I tried to adapt to this but gave up. I am thin, so I would think that someone with full hips would find this tight fitting. I do not know what additional measurements could be given the buyer to get an better idea of the fit. L.L. Bean has descriptors for their plain front chinos. Their "natural fit" sits at the natural waist and is relaxed through the hip and thigh. Their "classic" fit sits at the natural waist with traditional straight legs.I have no trouble with the quality of the product.

Back in the day style!
Nice trousers but probably designed for the american market. Material is good and colour is nice.34inch waist is generous and the fit is relaxed including a pleat. All a bit 90's...

Good trousers, this is the second pair I have ...
Good trousers, this is the second pair I have bought - they are longer than listed, where as the first pair was perfect. But this is not bad, as they can be taken up.What is good though, is finding a 28 inch waist, where most men's brands start at 30"

Good quality
Very good quality but unfortunately the size was a number smaller than mine and I had to return it. But I would order again a size bigger.
