This was perfect when my 9yo broke her arm. It stopped water and worked for showers. We did not allow her to swim with the cast on. I think this would fit through teens but it is a tight suction on the top

Okay, this is a MUST if your child has a cast. I will say that the arm band is super tight- like uncomfortably so- so it makes a seal above the cast. This seal, along with the durable arm bag, keep water off of the cast allowing for showering and bathing.

We got this for my 4 year old who had an arm cast. It goes on easily and kept it dry through a bath. It was considerably more comfortable than previous attempts with a garbage bag and tape. The rubber top where you put the arm in is soft and not too tight that it is uncomfortable but tight enough to keep out the water.The bag itself is plenty big, a much older kid could easily fit into it, it is quite big on her but it does the job well. The bag itself feels sturdy and thick so you don't have to worry about it getting a tear in it.

I put this on my daughter before she got in the pool and it soaked her cast. She had to get it replaced I had high hopes for this. But I was really disappointed in it.
