Weaver Leather Mighty Wonder 4 Ton Hand Operated Clicker Press for Leather Working/Crafting Cutting/Dyes (65-3075)

Love the press if only my dies would show up. Packing for a hundred pound item is a bit lacking especially when the box looks like it spent more time on its sides then the bottom on mine the bottom flange was bent and the finish was damaged from the not secured handle floating around the box should have returned it but straitened it out sent pictures to Weaver thought I might at least get touch up paint but I was told where to get some. I did express to Weaver the use of a couple plastic straps and mounting the press to some wood could have prevented the damage reality is you pay $600 more than the competition and now I ask why.Well it is 9/29 and it seems that someone saw my review and a bottle of touch up paint showed up on my porch today, Thank You ! as for the press I stamped out some 12x12 leather plates from some 8-10oz Veg tan and with a sharp die was surprised how easy it was as for smaller items I only wonder why I did not get this earlier it is easily 2-3 times faster than cutting by hand then fitting and finishing the seams

I have considered purchasing one of these for years and never could justify the cost. Once I took my leather crafting full-time, it was the first piece of equipment I added to my shop.First, it’s built like a tank. That means it’s heavy and you’ll need a sturdy table or bench to bolt it to. As far as function, it easily cuts parts from 6 ounce leather and thinner, but will still do thicker leather with a bit more effort. It also does a great job with embossing stamps. The rotating head makes positioning pieces, dies, and stamps much easier. The handle is long enough to get plenty of leverage without needing a ton of clearance. Sure, it would be nice if it were cheaper, but it’s an awesome piece of equipment if you’re serious about saving time in cutting out parts.

It works perfectly. I wish it had a bigger area for bigger projects but for this machine it’s perfect for smaller items.
