They are very sturdy, and do best when washed in warm water after use to get the remaining wax out. I just sent another set to my adult daughter who lives out of town.

The product came exactly when predicted. It was wrapped very securely with bubble wrap so the glass candle holders would not break. The candle holders are a new and improved design which has rubber inserts to allow the holder to be secured. I would recommend this seller.

After the candle inside this candle holder had been lit for a couple of hours, we heard the sound of broken glass but couldn’t locate the origin. The next day we found the candle holder had shattered. It was still in its candlestick and pieces of broken glass lay on the buffet. Scary. I haven’t had a problem with these before so I am uncertain how the problem originated

After a long search, trial & error, helpful & some not helpful Q&A, we have found the perfect solution for Shabbat 'candles.' These also fit perfectly, not snug, into the glass candlesticks shown in this listing (Crystal Candle Holders Set of 2 - 9.2" Tall Crystal Candlestick Holders - Ultra Elegant and Modern Centerpiece Home Décor). It was close to impossible to find information about water-oil ratios & wick-type. Through experimenting, we are now filling with half-water and 1/2" kosher olive oil (Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mediterranean Blend, 51 Fl Oz), plus large floating wick (Shalhevet Light Floating Wicks Cotton Wicks and Cork Disc Holders for Oil Cups (Large Circle Floating Wick)). On the Jar of Fireflies You Tube Channel she recommends half-water & half-olive oil. Half-inch of olive oil burns approximately 3-4 hours. The rubber washers are in 3-parts and adjust to your candlestick, we use all 3, the glass stays upright. There have been no issues with soot stain at all, glass very easy to clean. We compost the discard liquid; we use a new floating wick each week and discard the old wick. Hope this information is helpful.

Great wuality

These are nice glass holders, but they are too small for a standard votive or tea light. The peg has 3 stackable rubber tips so you can adjust the size. With all 3 tips the peg is 5/8” diameter which fits in my candelabra. Most peg glass cups are too large for it.
