Works great esp. for the money!
We bought a small used hot tub and after a couple of months wanted to give it a “purge” cleaning. Had seen this on several sites and seemed to be well recommended so decided to try it. Our tub is only 200 gallons so it only took about 3 tablespoons of this in the tub. I ran it for a couple of hours then let it set for about a day with the cover on. When I opened it up there was a lot of green and brown foam and slime on top of the water. I unplugged tub and drained the old water out. I don’t have a drain but it easily siphoned out with a hose laid in the bottom of the tub. I then took the hose with a spray nozzle and blew out all the lines with clean water by pressing the nozzle against each jet and backwashing each back into the tub until each ran clear. More gunk came out and I siphoned it out. I also blew out the lines with a small shop vac hooked up to blow. Some of the gunk had dried on the tub interior and I had to lightly scrub to get that off. Overall, it was easy to clean and I’m very satisfied with the result. I plan to do this every 3 months or so. I highly recommend this product - for both cleaning a used tub or keeping a new tub clean. And it’s CHEAP to use - we should get about 5 cleanings out of each bottle.

Been using it for years
This works well to clean out the various pipes in our hot tub. No foaming, mild enough yet effective.

Unbelievable, or maybe amazing.
We have frequently used our spa outside for 23 years, and I keep the water chemistry in line, and the appearance always great. In March, 2012 we both got into full body itching. Horrible. At first thought bedbugs. We spent $700 decontaminating two houses, but we didn't have bed bugs - sigh. We didn't think it could be the spa since we've never had problems. Dermatologists couldn't determine anything other than they don't know - call it Dermatitis. I finally ruled everything out and decided it has to be the spa. I bought a bottle of this product and couldn't believe the greasy gunk that soon "belched" out of the jets! Yuk! I followed directions, but kept the jets on for a longer time. Then drained, filled, etc...and we still had the itchies after every use.Longer story, and problems, but here is what I have found using this product. If you follow directions and get the greasy gunk ring around the spa after the prescribed time - do not stop there. Clean off the ring (I use shop paper towels, wet, and dipped into a bowl of baking soda to attack the grease - works great), and then add 2-3 oz more SeaKlear and run all the jets again...and again. I have been doing repeat applications over two days now, and I still get some gunk. I'll keep doing this until little if anything comes up. Then I plan to super-saturate the water with di-chlorine and let it set for 2 or 3 days, then empty the spa, clean everything down, and then refill.I highly recommend this product, as I know of nothing else that can do what this can. I don't detect any smells, and it is easy as handling water... light blue water. I just bought two more bottles to use often, and I hope at last our skin conditions go away! I'm confident now.

SeaKlear > Oh Yuk
We inherited a hot tub with the purchase of our home. We did a system flush with SeaKlear which flushed a considerable amount of algae flakes into the water before we drained the tub. We used SeaKlear both in the system flush and to scrub the tub as we drained and cleaned it. We refilled and had a sparkling, well-balanced tub and didn't think much of it. We decided to try Oh Yuk with our next system flush (90 days later), and while it did a great job, no algae was released. We thought we'd resolved whatever issue we had inherited. Fast forward another 90 days, hot tub cleaning day, and we decided to use up the last of the Sea Klear. A few minutes into the running the jets, algae flakes began to release and float up again.... I think SeaKlear works better for our hot tub, and it's only $8 per flush/purge compared to $15 for Oh Yuk.

Amazing Product
We purchased a used hot tub. When we first got the hot tub we could keep the chemicals balanced. Although, the pumps always seemed to run louder than I would have expected. Then after a couple of weeks, we noticed that whenever we turned on the jets, the water would get extremely cloudy and we could not keep the water balanced. Decided to try this product, and wow did it work. Within minutes of pouring this in the hot tub, we had a nasty looking green film sticking to the side of the hot tub and crazy amount of foam. After letting the pumps run for 30 minutes, we drained the hot tub and wiped the inside down. After re-filling the hot tub, we turned on the pumps. The pumps run much quieter now, the waters stays clear and the water stays in balance. We will continue to use this product every time we drain the hot tub, to keep the pumps and hoses clean. Would highly recommend this product.
