High quality product that is easy to use.
My new favorite. Easy to use menu. Stainless steel pot. Cooking times are perfect. I cook for a lot of family and the 8 quart can handle it. You can literally cook two different dishes, like beans and then the chicken for dinner one after another in about 1.5 hours and feed a lot of people. Well built, easy to use, easy to clean and the steam release works well. There is still some noise, but its a lot quieter than my old one.

Great pressure cooker
I've been using pressure cookers for years, and did not want to give up to the new tachnology. Being older and after falling asleep on my pressure cooker(and burning it up), I ordered this. I've only used it once, but the results were great. I love the stainless pot, it's easy to clean and transfers no taste. It was a great replacement for my pressure cookers, as now I don't worry of burnung down the house and killing everyone inside.

best instant pot iโve ever owned!
this instant pot was revered as one of the best and after using it a few times i can see why! upon first receiving it, this thing was definitely waay bigger than i thought it would be. it takes up a lotttt of counter space! and i have a small kitchen.. but it keeps me from having to buy a huge pot so itโs a nonnegotiable and essential item to batch cook meals for later. one of my favorite features is the whisper quiet function cuz if youโve had any instant pots in the past, it gets noisy! i love how user friendly it is and how it lets you know when itโs preheating, cooking, and warming. my meals finish so quickly and thoroughly. this thing is amazing and i love love lovvve it! i will say that i did have a little trouble in the beginning when i was first trying to use it. when i selected โpressure cookโ and i selected an option (ex: beans) it never finished preheating and i wasted many hours thinking it was cooking when it wasnโt ๐ฅฒ needless to say, i had a really late dinner that night lol. ended up figuring that i just needed to select custom when pressure cooking and manually set the time and pressure. this could also just be a user error though (donโt come for me, i did not read the user manual okkk ๐) the only thing i genuinely have a complaint about is the color of the start button. itโs a darker green which blends in so makes it easy to miss. other than that, this is honestly such great value for money, as well as safe and easy to use once you figure it out.

Good Pressure Cooker, OK Slow Cooker If You're Patient
As a pressure cooker, this is great. As a slow cooker, it NEVER gets past "Preheating", so I never know if it is really "slow cooking" or not. I mainly use it as a pressure cooker and in that respect, it's great. The instant pressure release switch is a lot better than the models where you have to turn the knob and the steam shoots from that knob. This release switch is away from where the steam releases. I am happy with the pressure cooking performance but the slow cooker performance is a complete disappointment. Update: I was actually slow cooking some beef bone broth while writing this and I decided to increase the time to 8 hours; it just stayed in pre-heating, even after doing about 6 minutes of Saute mode, so I knew it was hot. Well after about 4 hours of being in Pre-heating, it finally moved to the Cooking phase and stayed that way for the rest of the cooking time, then went into the keep warm phase after 8 hours. So I'm making this a 5 star review; I guess you just have to let it run its course and eventually it will get to Cooking, unless you don't set your timer high enough to exceed the Pre-heat stage. Overall I'm HAPPY with this IP .

Amazing!!
It does everything, it advertises - perfectly! We were in shock with how good everything comes out in it... It saves a lot of time and it does not compromise taste. It actually makes it taste better. The food comes out, so tender and so juicy. I think it's amazing, and I think if you are interested in getting any type of pressure cooker, I definitely recommend this because it makes it very easy. And the dials are very easy to understand.

Defective Lid Design - Don't waste your $$$
I purchased this large instant pot because we like to make bone broth and others students and soups and so I bought the biggest one I could find. Thinking that instant pot would be easy to use was a huge mistake. I cannot get past the installing the lid to perform a test run. This is a poorly designed system. You need to fiddle with this large red O-ring and get it to into the lid somehow I've done this about 15 times now and I'm able to get it in there so that when you turn the lid upside down the rings stays, but I can't get the lid to seal on the pot. The lid is impossible to push down by myself to lock and then trying to turn with a rubber, O-ring is not working at all. I think this is a huge design flaw, and this is not easy to use. I should just be able to open and close and not have to fiddle with this O-ring. I can't even get beyond the Test. I called the product support line. The one 800 customer service number listed here and they want me to send email photos of the product when it's brand new out of the box and there's no one that could talk me through tips and tricks of getting the top on. The customer support person hung up on me after putting me on hold and never call me back. They probably have too many complaints on this product. I would give this zero stars andreturn it if I could, but I think it's past the window so I guess this is going to be a donation because who has time to fiddle with this thing I've already spent hours trying to just steam water on the test. It's impossible. I am very experienced at using scientific instruments as a chemist, working in a lab and I figured an Instant pot in your kitchen should be something that ANYONE can do and I don't see how people are using this if I can't get it to work unless there's something defective with my unit.

Not literally whisper quiet but a significant step up over my old instant pot
I bought this to replace my old 8 quart Duo Crisp which I was handing over to someone else. The overall design has not changed much aside from the vent setup. The new "whisper quiet" technology is a plastic baffles that sits over the weighted steam release valve. It's not literally whisper quiet but it's a big improvement over my old pot. In my old pot I had to put a towel over the release valve to prevent steam from violently shooting into the underside of my cabinets and causing condensation to drip back down. This new device sends steam out the side over a wider area and so it's quieter and slower. The weighted steam release valve looks to be the same shape, weight, and size as before, and so replacements should be easy. However, the float valve has been redesigned with a soft rubber top, so a replacement might be a little harder to find, and I'm not sure if the old one would be compatible. The float valve silicone cap is the same as before. The metal filter cap for the release valve also looks to be the same. The inner pot looks to be about the same quality as my old one, and weighs exactly 1kg now, which is nice for when you are using a scale to progressively add ingredients by weight. It's 13g less than my old pot so I don't think they've cheaped out. There are now felt/rubber nubs on the inside of the outer pot to help prevent the inner pot from spinning when stirring food inside. It also comes with an extra silicone sealing ring which is nice (my Duo Crisp did not come with an extra one). The lid is now fully covered with plastic so there's less of a chance of burning yourself as the old design had exposed metal on the lid. The unit is significantly lighter than my Duo Crisp, probably because it doesn't need the additional circuitry for the air fryer component (which I didn't find very useful). It is about the same size as my Duo Crisp. The new display is quite nice and feels a bit more upscale, although I did find navigating it a bit clunkier than my old unit - not a big deal. I like that they've retained the ability to turn off sounds and change from degrees F to C. As for performance, it seems to preheat at about the same speed as my old unit. The sous vide function is about the same as my Duo Crisp, namely, it's not super accurate (up to 5F off), but is adequate for my purposes. Overall, I think it's a competent upgrade over their old design. Nothing revolutionary, but nothing really bad to say about it. If you are needing a new unit for whatever reason, you can't go wrong with this new model.

Great kitchen implement
It is great! Much better than our old one. Stainless steel liner can go in the dishwasher. Multifunctional allow several different cooking methods as well as pressure. Hard boiled eggs come out great and the shells peal easily.
