Works well, bargain!
A little awkward to set up but the instructions were detailed and clear. Works well, notifications come straight to my phone, Great for the price!

Excellent for mobile alerts from relatives
Arrived today and took about 30 minutes to set up. Note that it only works on 2.4GHz WiFi so I had to stop my router sending a 5Ghz signal so that my phone would switch. THis is fairly easily done from the admin controls on a dual band router.Once setup very simply to use so that now when my wife needs me she just pushes the button and my phone alerts me.

Wow, other reviewers weren't joking
I got this a couple of days ago solely as an emergency paging device for my aged parent who is registered blind and using a phone is very difficult for her. 40 minutes into reading the instructions and fiddling around with it I honestly thought I had cracked it. But then it wouldn't page my mobile, just the device in the house. I had to knock a star off for the overly complicated instructions. I spent around 10 years working for a multi-national writing instruction manuals as part of my job and it's sometimes painful to read these not so much badly translated, but definitely overly complicated setup booklets. If they are done well, they can be informative, but you should always make a quick cheat sheet card with numbered steps, these can get you setup in minutes and allow non-techies a tick-box approach to the setup. But if you need additional in-depth instruction or advice you go to the thicker manual. It is early days so I can't comment on battery life or dependability, I may revisit this review in a few months and update it if I remember.

Confusing...
Bought this for my mum, she'd had a few falls over the last year so thought this would be perfect for her.The instructions were really confusing, badly worded in a tiny little booklet that made it hard to read.It was the choice of music I wasn't happy with, and although it said it was easy to change it, every time I tried it just went back to original music it was set up for. Also I wanted it for more of an alarm tone, to alert us in the night if my mum fell and it was just all silly music.
