Clever functional tool. Great for dowel rods!
Bought to use on dowel rods on my drying racks to sand between layers of Helmsman water based spar urethane. I’m very pleased with the function and results. The only improvement I would love to see is a tool that at 3 convex shapes to save on paper when specifically sanding dowel rods. . That being said the other configurations are clearly beneficial. The block uses 1/4 sheet of sandpaper. I love the simplicity of the center bar to firmly hold the paper in place. Comes with 150 grit paper installed. Would absolutely buy again.

Perfect for sanding small drywall patching jobs!
This sander works wonderfully for sanding small drywall patching jobs, where you want the integrity of the painted wall surrounding to be preserved. The situation I recently encountered was where a wall anchor crumbled as I was attempting to extract it and I had no choice but to knock it down inside the wall. So, small but deep hole that required several layers of patching compound and targeted sanding. This sander worked like magic for this! Well worth the investment! In fact, I may order another for when my hubs absconds with this one! :)

It works
I got this to assist my wooden ship modeling build. I find it comfortable, it seems durable and easy to handle but time will tell. I particularly like the functionality and grip to conform to the piece I'm sanding.

Amazing! More comfort and proficiency
Amazing!! It made my project significantly easier and faster! I used it for sanding and prep work for painting dirt bike parts, fenders, car parts, cabinets, etc. It's been put through a solid week of work so far and held up strong. Very lightweight but adds that needed wide grip for more comfort. Overall great design and I don't see this failing anytime soon but will update if it does.

Makes sanding easy!
This tool is definitely worth using if you'll be hand sanding a lot of walls. I had to patch up nearly every wall in my house before painting so it helped to sand smoothly over flat and curved surfaces. Easy to switch out sandpaper once you get the hang of it. I found that 4.5 x 5.5 in sheets of sandpaper work well as replacements

A Handy Sanding Tool
I think this was a "filler" item to meet the requirement for overnight delivery. As it turned out, I have found it it be a very handy sanding tool, perfect for flat or curved surfaces of guitar bodies. The design uses a convenient-to-make 1/4 sheet of regular, 9"x11", store-bought sandpaper. The removable inner slide makes loading a fresh piece of sandpaper easy. The tool's flat, convex, and concave surfaces let me sand every inch of a Fender-style guitar body. Not bad for a "filler" item!
