This is 100% my favorite yarn. I've bought so many skeins in the Boardwalk color that I may as well take up stock! It stripes in beautiful, bright rainbow colors and is amazing for scarves and hats to make a statement.

I love this yarn so much, but....
I really really loved this yarn. It was an absolute delight to crochet and watch the vivid colors change so quickly. It is very soft, varied weight and seems like a very good quality yarn.. Except just one thing. The knot, where there wouldn't normally be a color change. Huge disappoint when it comes to something as much of a statement as a scarf or a hat, as it's completely noticeable and very poorly transitioned. If i had another shot with a better skein of this product I'm sure i would be the happiest girl in the world. But, for now, abrupt knot it is.

Super Soft Super Wonderful!
I cannot say enough good about this yarn. It's thick, it's super soft, it works a dream. The colors are so vibrant - none of the color swatches I've seen compare, so I will upload a picture I took midway through a scarf. I have ordered other colors in the Landscapes line and loved them just as much. They all work up fast and easy, super soft, never had a problem finding the end inside the skein. It is well worth the added money for the skein - the yarn is THAT much better than the "normal" stuff.

So pretty!!!
Update: The price did come down on this yarn to make it more affordable long enough for me to buy some but now it's back up. So keep an eye on prices. I'm adding pictures with granny squares made with it and Thor The Warrior Kitten. After making a full blanket with it, I can say more about working with it - thickness varies in places. There is also a bit of fuzzy/halo effect as you handle the item sometimes. That doesn't trouble me, I'm a loose crocheter and don't mind a "handmade" variability to the yarn thickness or appearance. I split the yarn a few times but I didn't perceive it to be a significant issue. This yarn doesn't strike me as generally fussy to work with, but the few times when it was mildly fussy, I just didn't care because I love it so much. If you're very particular about everything being exact on your projects - same thickness, tight tension and extremely uniform look, you probably wouldn't dig the multi-color explosion here anyway. But it's right up my alley and I'll be looking for more opportunities to work with this.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This yarn is GORGEOUS. It's super soft, very thick, and the colors (Boardwalk) are absolutely stunning. It's wonderful to work with and I want more!!! The only thing I don't 100% love about this yarn is the price.I would make huge blankets out of this stuff all over the place if I wouldn't need to mortgage something to do it. That's why it's 4 stars instead of 5. At the price I paid for it, it can only be used for accents or special projects, not all the stuff I'd love to use it for. But for a hat or scarf or something? Great choice.

Fun yarn! Not serious 🧶 yarn
This yarn is fun! It is not serious. It is fun because it is acrylic and completely washable. You can throw it in with anything, it will not bleed. I wash it in hot water and soap and dry it in the dryer. No problems. If you get the yarn that changes color, you will thoroughly enjoy it. When you are done with the project people think you are brilliant because you so used so many different colors. Of course you just kept knitting or crocheting and the color is changed for you.Now for another way the yarn is fun, but not serious. It is not high-quality. Sometimes the colors don’t match exactly from skein to skein-even in a lot number, for that matter in an individual skein. Some skeins have no knots in them. One skein was tied together with three different sections of yarn to make it.As you work with an individual skein you will find the yarn getting thicker and thinner. But I use it for viral shawls and I have a blast.

Awesome Product!
Loved this yarn...I should have purchased more than one in the first place...it is after all Lion Brand. I have always loved their yarns...I just did not know how much a skein would make...well...I made a scarf that was 42" long and 5" wide with one skein...need another one for a matching hat. Definately will buy this again...and it came in the mail quickly!

Beautiful Yarn in Lovely Colors
I have been using this yarn in every color to make scarves and hats for my friends and family for Christmas 2017 and I love it. Occasionally the thickness of the yarn my vary a little but it rarely shows in the finished product. I made my own pattern by casting on 30 sets and working in a basket weave pattern for the scarves. I wanted very long scarves and used 2 skeins so the wearer could wrap the scarf several times around. I cast on 70 sets for the hats. I used a # 10 needle and loved the results. I have also washed one of the scarves in the washer and laid the scarf out on a towel to air dry as directed by Lion Brand.

Absolutely love this
Seriously love this yarn! The skein is a bit smaller than it looks in the picture but I should've checked weight and length so that's on me.This is the softest yarn I've ever felt! I think because of the way it's made, it did shed a bit onto my shirt when I was using it but not too bad. A quick run with the lint roller and it was fine. There was a bit of a learning curve when I started using it as it's not as tightly wound as the other yarns I've used and kept coming slightly unraveled when I didn't hold on so tight and my hook would go through the yarn. It also became twisted when I was working with it. It didn't take long to work out how to partner better with the yarn though.I would most definitely buy this yarn and use it again. The transition to and from each color is absolutely beautiful and the hat I made is very comfortable. It's not itchy or too tight and keeps me warm.Thank you!

Feeling let down
This product was recommended on youtube for crocheting a pair of rainbow legwarmers. I bought 3 skeins: one for each leg plus a spare one just in case. I thought it was expensive, but it was for a present. When the order arrived I was over the moon as the colours looked even brighter and shinier than on screen. When I started crocheting the first legwarmer I fell in love with the luxurious feel of the wool, and as I continued I was really pleased with the colour effects of it throughout. Unfortunately, once I started crocheting the second legwarmer, I encountered a rather upsetting problem, considering the legwarmers are for a special present. Not only the second skein had two different colours knotted together, hence disrupting the colour pattern which the first skein had followed (never mind the fact that you don't want to see a knot in an otherwise omogenous pattern of stitches, which could also compromise the stretch of the garment), but further on some thread had become somewhat detached in a fluffy mess, hence thickening the wool and making the use of the same crochet hook rather difficult (never mind the unsightly look and feel this would give the pattern). Fortunately, I had bought a spare skein, but even more upsettingly this third skein suffered from the same problems as the previous one. So, by this point, I'm even more upset because (due to time constraints for the birthday present) I'm going to have to cut the messed up section of wool. Hopefully I'll have enough to make the second legwarmer the same lenght as the first, otherwise I shall also have to undo the first, oh so perfect one, and reduce its length to match. But starting the second legwarmer further down the length of skein actually means that the colour pattern of the two legwarmers will be different - which I'm not sure whether it will enhance or detract from the overall effect... Beautiful yarn
Ordered quite a lot as I was making a king size bed cover. It was a little expensive but I couldn’t get the yarn elsewhere & was happy to buy from Amazon, reliable source & delivery was excellent. Great to work with, really soft, colours really popped as the blanket got bigger. Added bonus was the yarn could be machine washed & tumble dried. Win win situation.

Interesting yarn colours great difficult to use
I'm dropping one star as it's so difficult to work and I would not recommend for a beginnerThis is a difficult yarn to knit in that it can split on the needle if you're not paying attention. Giving ugly loops sticking out. If you make a mistake and have to undo a row or two as I did you'll find the yarn clings to itself however patience and perseverance and it was sorted.I am currently working on a scarf for my partner with this yarn and if you use a relatively simple textured stitch (I wouldn't like to try cable stitches!!) and biggish needles 6mm It comes out well. The colour changes are lovely I'm now looking for more of this yarn type for other projects but I'll keep it simple and steer away from using it on double pointed needles as I'm not totally experienced with them.I do think a bit of horses for courses is required I also downloaded the pattern from the Lion web page. So I'm knitting a pattern designed for the woolThe patterns all seem to be free so a good source of ideas.I have enclosed a photo of my work in progress. My camera is making it look lighter that it is in reality but you can see the lovely colour gradation and using the simple knit purl pattern i am a bit sorry I promised this to him!!!

Knots easily
Crocheters will understand this - this yarn strands have a fuzz on it that makes it hard to undo a row or a few stitches. It catches on won't let go. The colours are beautiful, but too annoying to work with for me - it fuzzes up more as you go along too, so not a smooth finish

Vibrant and Soft!
Very bright colours! It arrived this afternoon and straight away I had to use it! Made myself a hat but I think I need to buy another ball to make some gloves now as it’s just so nice and soft and bright! The strands split apart quite a bit but it didn’t make a difference to the finished piece.
