DO NOT listen to the stupid bad reviews on this device. I found it to be packaged very well and delivered on time.As for how it works !!! I could not have gotten a better unit. True you can not put a plastic bottle (water/tea/etc) on itand expect it to cool as you want. But if you set the bottle inside the cup that came with the unit, it works GREAT!I have used this unit at work and and am very pleased with it keeping my Green Tea cold all day...and as for HOT stuff...one might complain it's too hot (BS). If it gets too hot take it off the heater...Kind of like if you have a pot over a fire, it getsto how...take it off.This unit is well-made and works great...As an engineer, I say it's well made.Thanks guys for a good product.

Keeps canned beverages cold until I finish them- I sip an energy drink over the course of the morning at work. Keeps tea or coffee SUPER hot- like hotter than it was when I set the cup there. I work in a giant Automotive shop so it's breezy and dusty most of the time. The cup that came with this has a nice little lid that keeps heat in and dust out. The cup that came with is pure metal (aluminum I assume), with merely a plastic sleeve around the outside and handle. There is no plastic on the bottom, over the aluminum- therefor the metal can rest directly on the warmer/cooler pad and help keep your drink the perfect temperature. This product really wouldn't work with insulated cups/mugs though. Standard and oversized coffee mugs don't fit very well and sometimes slide off to the side. The cup that comes with really is the perfect accompaniment. If I have this on all day at work, it develops ice/frost on the cooling pad within an hour. Then my can gets stuck to it. So that's something to be aware of. It's not a problem or deal-breaker for me though. Overall this product does exactly what it claims to do and it does it very well.

cup is shallower that I thought and unless you have a metal coffee cup the heating element is useless, does keep coke cans cold as long as they are in the can or metal cup. work as described but do to the flaws mentioned only could give it 3.5 to 4 star review.

The unit arrived today ahead of the scheduled delivery date so that was nice. The packaging was very poor, either it was a return item rewrapped or the company does not care about how they pack items. Nothing was sealed, box was just covered in tape and all the plastic wrap inside had been opened already. The unit worked right away out of the box and was able to keep my beverage at a decently cool temp. The major downside to the unit is the noise. If you plan to use this inside a home or office you should be good but in a car it sounds like you are banging metal plates constantly. The spot where you place the beverage is metal and any can of soda after a few sips is too light to stay in place so every little bump in the road makes metal on metal banging sounds. The unit should have some sort of rubber sleeve around the top to keep the beverage container in place. I am not going to return it because it does work but I cannot use it for it's intended purpose either so I gave it a 3 star rating.

This is pretty good keeps your coffee warm not super hot. But it's great haven't tried a cold drink in it yet

The cup waw smaller than I thought. It made a really loud noise when warming up. Not happy; therefore returned.

Do not buy this. For the amount of money you spend, the only thing that I will say actually works is the cooling element does wonders for a can of soda. The charging mechanism worked for one day but I had to keep picking my phone up and resetting it. The heating only works for the cup that it comes with. the design could have been done differently and been made friendly for other cups.

This thing is awesome! Bought it for my wife and we tested it with a thermometer and results were unbelievable! I may buy one for myself! Very happy with it.
