I am not sire on the battery as i am just the guy that repairs phones but that i am aware of the battery is still going strong

The kit arrived, well packaged and complete - all required parts included. The instructions were reasonable but I used online instructions as they were more comprehensive. The inclusion of a new seal for the screen, when it’s put back on, is a good idea but is very awkward to do - pointing this out but this is NOT a fault of the seller or manufacturer as this is a common problem for iPhone repairs. Very good experience with this kit and the battery life shows as 100% on the phone, charges as the original did and lasts for two days with moderate use and background apps running.

I must have been sold a dud battery as I bought two of these to replace in two iPhone 7s. When I replaced the battery it seemed to be working okay but the new battery wasn’t charging up to 100% which I thought was weird then the battery stopped charging completely on a very important wedding day!!! Leaving me with no phone for photos for the day.Not happy luckily I had bought two batteries and the other one touch wood is working so far!Definitely want a replacement or refund for one of the battery!!!

This should be sufficient to give another breath of life to the dying original battery.And off go the chucky portable power bank.It does take some TLC when removing the casing, and do watch a few videos before attempting, or bring it to the expert and pay for the labour.You do get all the necessary tools to work with, however, a bit of experience and know-how is needed.This is now a much better battery life even comparing when's new, as this is nearly double, hence charging only required 3-4 days -for sort of heavy usage.Price is good @ £23 for the set, but seems a bit slightly higher than the same cap iPhone 8 battery.

The kit comes complete with the tools required to carry out the replacment, however, and it's a big however, the quality of the tool kit is not good as other buyers have said. Both the plastic case opener and the tweezers are not fit for purpose. You will require a small thin metal blade such as a craft knife and a pair of your wifes tweezers to carry out the job effectively. The screwdrivers, whilst ok for a one off are not of a decent quality either and so don't expect them to last for mutliple use.An absolute must is to watch a couple of videos on You Tube before attempting the repair as this was a great help.I can't comment on the battery itself as I've only just fitted it, but it seems to working ok.

Fairly easy to do if you take your time and follow each step carefully. I used a YouTube video to install the new battery for my iPhone 7 which took me about 40 minutes. My battery health is now at 100% instead of 80% so I’m happy. Hopefully it lasts a bit longer between charges as I was having to put it on charge every hour or so before.

Online videos suggest that this is a 5 minute job, however for a first time definitely not. Just take your time and don't panic. Removing the screen takes time however once removed all other processes are simple if not a little fiddly due the the very very small screws etc, etc. out come was great and battery life of phone now 100%....
