Great support for a running shoe
I have been purchasing New Balance for the past 10 years. Their products are great. I love the New Balance 1260v7 Running shoe. It has a great support bed. Very comfortable. The shoe fits my foot much more snuggly than the New Balance 990v4. It is attractive and well put together. I got them for a good price too! Glad I purchased them and will look for it again when I repurchase.

Very comfortable shoe for medium pace runs!
This a great shoe for comfortable distance running at a moderate pace. It’s perfect for me but if you tend to run sub 8 minute miles this shoe may seem too bulky. I usually run 6 10 minute miles 2X a week and feel great. I use inserts and these shoes accommodate them easily. I’ve also worn 1080V7 shoes and feel good with those shoes but the 1260’s provide more support and cushioning. These shoes tend to be a little pricey so I use them for as long as I can which is about 6 months. I will continue using 1260’s as long as NB continues making them.

Pretty amazing.
Been suffering with foot pain for some time now. Have tried various non-custom orthotics recommended by my podiatrist. He also said I should invest in a New Balance shoe that is in the 1000 series and up. At the time I was wearing $50-60 Nike shoes that were doing my feet no favors. These 1250v7 shoes are amazing. The support is fantastic and for the first time in a long time, I have no pain. Not until wearing these shoes did I realize how different a cheap foam shoe is to a well built supportive shoe like these are.

I have had so many disappointing interludes with shoes that are amazing but they don't come in a wide size
I am a devoted New Balance customer and will continue to be. This company (hands-down) has the market on the wide-shoe market. As a person ''blessed" with gondolas for feet, I have had so many disappointing interludes with shoes that are amazing but they don't come in a wide size. The 1260V7 is a great shoe. The fit is supportive yet comfortable; stylish and all the right colors I love. However, the only reason I didn't keep the shoe (having tried them on Prime Wardrobe) is the mesh exterior looks as though it would wear down and tear sooner than later. For $150, I need a little more tactile proof that my shoes can endure the gym to the road and back.

NB New Balance 10 D Men's 1260V7 Running Shoe
This is my review of the new 1260V7 running shoe. First I would like to dispel other reviewers statement "Tong Too Narrow." Please take a look at my pictures submitted herewith. The tong is just right if you lace up your shoes. Next "Fits too narrow." I measured my foot for accuracy 10 D. I ordered this shoe selecting drop down menu Wide. Just arrived today and this shoe fits exactly as measured. Please take a look at picture with my finger on left side of shoe, toes snug to fit. Next, arch. I selected high arch as you can see from my pictures, I have a purchased therapeutic insole and this gives the shoe high arch. Last tread bottom of shoe. Well, as you can see from my pictures this goes without a word said. I feel New Balance has done an excellent job on the bottom sole. Notice the green fuel cell for added stability. All said you won't find a better deal than this as stated here on Amazon. This particular shoe is currently selling elsewhere on the internet. I Purchased these on Amazon. Thank you Amazon!

Make sure you break the shoes in before doing a long run.
New Balance 1080’s are a better shoe for me due to the cushioning and durability.

1260 true to form
I've been using the 1260 for several generations over the last 10-15 years I think, and these don't disappoint, feel as expected. I'm 215 lbs with moderate flat feet, trying to get down closer to my previous weight around 200. I had an older pair of V6 and these V7s instantly made my joints feel better, so it was obviously long overdue for a replacement set.Overall, they fit exactly the same as every other pair I've had, I'm 11.5 and normal width.Initially hesitant based on some of the reviews, but I have no idea what people are talking about, and I'm not disappointed. Some people wrote about the fit: no idea what they're talking about.Someone wrote about the tongue and the laces: No idea. feels fine, and I had them laced up all the way to the second to last holes, with still too much leftover so I had to triple knot them to take up the slack. So I guess if you have weirdo hobbit feet or something, then you might have fit issues but then again, you will probably have fit issues with everything and need a better understanding of your foot. For normal feet, these fit as expected and like every other 1260 I've owned.

Best shoe I've worn; great for just walking around and jogging.
I've worn ASIC Kayanos for 15 years, and found their latest incarnation to not fit as well or be as comfortable. I returned them and bought a pair of NB 1260's. MUCH BETTER! I wear 11.5/2E's in the New Balance, compared to 11.5/4E in the Asics. I've also lost weight, so this may be more about me than the stated shoe size. I really like these New Balances, and am just now retiring my original pair and replacing them with the same make/model.From my experience these are the best shoes on the market. I use them for jogging (10 miles/week), and work/play/whatever. Highly, highly recommended, and I'll stick with them until they change (or my feet change) enough so that they no longer fit!
