Review: Sophia & William Tall Storage Cabinet I purchased two of these for my bedroom to place under my television wall mount, and they were exactly what I expected. The cabinets look great, feel sturdy, and were very easy to assemble. Overall, a solid purchase.

Very pleased with this purchase. The cabinet is sturdy, functional, and visually appealing. flexible storage, and overall beautiful design. comes with great condition, and it's so heavy. Should be deposited in the hall for a while for its smell.

I've assembled dozens of similar products and they all have their own idiosyncrasies - this one is no different. Pay attention to the interior shelf orientation. Unit is quite sturdy and looks nice once assembled. I was a little disappointed that the color was more of a green hue than blue - very hard to tell from pictures, but it really didn't fit well with the other blues in our room. In hindsight, I think we would have been better off with the more neutral off-white version. It arrived well packaged and protected - nothing damaged other than a minor nick or two. The packaged arrived showing some rough handling but the interior pieces were well protected. The distressed finish is well applied, considering a piece of this cost - not heirloom quality but is a nice casual addition to our guest cabin. Not something you'd be terribly upset over if it experienced harsh handling. It is heavy, so may need two people for assembly. It took me about 2 1/2 hours by myself but I wasn't pushing it. May actually buy another in the off-white to make the war department happy! Overall, pleased with it!

This cabinet is well made and easy to assemble with two people. Looks nice and description matches product.

If using as end table near sofa, make sure you measure height. I decided not to screw the leg knobs supplied so it made it shorter & works better for my space. Easy instructions, nice storage, nice weight to it, no negative issues at all, white one exactly matches a double door piece I have & looks great together! Love both pieces …

I have purchased 6 of these cabinets. Only received 4. I’m still waiting on my return for the 2. It’s been around a month that I’ve been waiting. They sent the two missing ones to an old address because the system glitched and reverted back to that address. Technology error, unfortunately. I was told I was being refunded- Every time I inquire about it, I get told to wait 3-5. I started asking about this at the beginning of may- It’s now June. Ive also contacted the companies customer service. No help there either.i was told to contact a neighbor or drive to pick it up. That’s a 3 day drive? You serious? It’s a military base. I can’t reach out to anyone because all the people I knew are already gone to their next place. And I don’t live there anymore (obviously), so I can’t get access to their fb spouses page. I’ve tried multiple times already. It’s not even properly pressed wood. It’s made of pressed wood powder. The taller cabinets (3 shelves) doors will fall apart if you don’t glue the magnet mechanisms first. Also, use a slightly longer screw if you have it. The ones they provide are not long enough to handle what the cabinet goes through. I’m sorry it opens and closes multiple times a day. Lord forbid you actually use them. The only pieces that are solid are the feet. Also, the paint feels like chalk. It acts like chalk paint too. Stains immediately. Not sealed at all. I originally purchased to redo my entire living room. I thought they would be perfect for my entertainment center, entryway shoe storage, and end tables. They are truly beautiful. But how am I supposed to enjoy something if it’s falling apart constantly and I am missing furniture? I can’t replace the rest of the pieces if the money isn’t put back. Yes- Two (or more) issues. Hopefully your story goes better than mine.

At first, the assembly seemed daunting, but once i laid everything out, and got started it went pretty smoothly. I have assemlbled a LOT of furniture, and will say the instructions for this piece were not among the best. Pictures left a lOT unexplained - but I perservered, and got the first one done in about 3 hours (worked alone). 2nd one took about the same amount of tiime. The end result is beautiful! This piece is def teal - NOT blue. NOTES for assembly: 1) Keep all of the grooved edges on the same side (back of unit). 2) Pay close attention to the numbers stuck on each piece. 2 pieces may look alike, but are meant to be left or right - so numbers will keep that straight. 3) Altho faint, look at the drawing details for orienting pieces. If it shows 2 small dots, consider that important as it relates to holes on the piece that need to align in a certain way.

I was really looking forward to this being delivered and I was extremely happy to see it arrived 3 days earlier than the given time frame. My husband proceeded to put it together and that's when we noticed a few things, unfortunately. Firstly, it is much smaller (depth wise) than I anticipated. Secondly, the chalky white paint rubs right off way too easily, which then makes it look distressed and rustic. If that's your vibe, fantastic, you should love it! If it's not, then you will be disappointed and annoyed with the fact that you can't wipe it without some paint coming off (minus the wooden top, obviously). Thirdly, it states it's real wood with a faux wood backing, but that is inaccurate. It is all pressed wood. So if you're expecting a real solid wood cabinet, you will be very disappointed. Lastly, the hinges on the middle door are not working properly and won't allow the door to be closed at all. We aren't sure why, so my husband took that door off to attempt to rehang it, but now the screws/predrilled holes are stripped. He is going to have patch the holes and create new ones if I want that middle cabinet hung. For the time being, we only have the 2 outer doors attached and I'm using the center section as decorative shelves. Considering the price of this piece of furniture, I was expecting better quality, for the paint not to wipe off, and for all the doors to open and close as intended. The ONLY reason I am keeping it is because it's already put together and it's too much of an inconvenience to take it all apart and ship it back. I can't honestly recommend this piece, which is unfortunate because the design has so much potential to be a beautiful furniture piece.
