I like how easily this serum fits into my skincare routine. It has a lightweight texture that spreads well, so only a few drops are needed to cover my face and neck, making the bottle last longer than expected. It feels moisturizing without being too heavy and leaves my skin looking brighter, smoother, and more refreshed with consistent use. My skin also feels slightly firmer and more hydrated. I appreciate that the formula is fragrance-free because it is more comfortable for my sensitive skin. It layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen without causing irritation. I have used many other vitamin C serums (including $200 dollar ones) and this one I will say is just a good if not better! I apply in the morning, it’s non irritating and does not cause any burning or skin peeling like other vitamin C serums can. Very hydrating and leaves you with a morning glow! Has a serum like consistency with no harsh fragrances. Highly effective at an AMAZING price!

I’ve been using Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% for a while and really like how it feels on my skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs easily, and leaves my skin looking fresh and more radiant. I absolutely love this stuff. I even recommended it to my best friend, who typically has sensitive skin, and it works wonders for her as well with no irritation. I bought it because I was getting a little bumps on my forehead and chin that weren’t acne (I’m in my 30s), they were just clogged pores and no matter how clean I tried to keep my face, I still felt like there was dirt and grime getting in my pores from working outside. A week of using this stuff every other night and there was already a clear difference. I’m not talking wrinkles, I’m talking texture, my forehead is smooth like glass, and there are no more bumps caused from clogged pores/mini blackheads. I will use this forever.

I’ve been very happy with these products from The Ordinary. The Hyaluronic Acid leaves my skin feeling hydrated, the Niacinamide has been a great addition to my routine, and the Ascorbyl Glucoside gives my skin a nice, refreshed look. I just started using this...using vit c serum in general so not much to say about it at the moment where results are concerned. The serum is not thick and absorbs fairly quickly so I'm not waiting too long to finish the other steps in my routine. Based on articles online, my skin is reacting as it should. It feels a little tingly when i just started but thats fading and it irritated my eyes a little so i avoid my eyes when applying. No noticeable fragrance. It's not very oily, and and my skin seems hydrated though I moisturize and use sunscreen after. I'll have to comment on effectiveness at another time. I don't find it to be very sticky, a little tacky maybe but not enough to be an issue or maybe I'm not using enough. Update: it's not the serum that irritated my eyes, it's actually my sunscreen so please disregard that portion of my previous review.

I had some uneven skin tone issues and was looking for something to help with balancing out the darker areas on my face and neck. I do have freckles mostly on my cheek areas so I tend to be prone to sun damage. I decided to give The Ordinary Vit C Serum a try back in early September. It's now been a little over 5 months since I have been using the serum in the morning and then in the evening before bed. I also use Cerave Facial Moisturizer AM with SPF/PM after I put the serum on. The serum is not a moisturizer so you definitely want to use a facial moisturizer after putting it on so you don't feel sticky and dry. Even after 6 weeks, I was already seeing an improvement and it just got better and better after that week after week. In fact, I'm now getting compliments on how good the skin on my face looks, which is really reassuring because that was not the case before. So for anybody else that is struggling with uneven skin tone from sun damage or whichever, I would highly recommend trying out the serum. Understand that it's not magic so it's not like poof...you're done. It does take time, but follow the routine and be patient.

All is good. But delivery takes a lot time.
