Fit my dryer
I don't know why Amazon has this listed as a burner knob. It is definitely not for a stove. It replaced my broken knob on my GE dryer. Fits as expected.

Works perfectly as intended.
This dryer selector knob fits perfectly as they are the same as the originals that came with the GE dryer. You know, these knobs do break with some period of use and replacing them is something everyone can do themselves. Just pull out and replace with your bare hands.By the way, if you need the "General Electric WH01X10060 Selector Knob", which is also sold on Amazon albeit at a higher price, this will fit exactly the same and thus they are interchangeable. The only difference is the color. This one is grey and the General Electric WH01X10060 Selector Knob is white. I attach a picture of the two side by side, so you know they are the same except color.

This little knob saved me likely hundreds of dollars!!!
My dryer wouldn't turn on and I noticed that the knob felt 'weird' when turning it...wasn't clicking anymore and the dryer wouldn't turn on. Scheduled a diagnostic repairman to come out on a Monday, however over that weekend my son looked at it and noticed that the original knob was cracked a little on the underside section that holds the knob onto the metal prong. He was able to get it to turn on with pliers and then told me to order this knob. Received it super fast and it solved all my dryer issues with no repairman needed!

BEWARE THE CHEAP PLASTIC HOUSING
PLEASE NOTE: While this did fit my washer, it snapped the water control out of the cheap plastic housing when I tried to snap it on. I highly recommend opening the control panel so you can push from the back of the switch while you snap the knob into place or you may also snap the plastic nubs holding the water control switch in place. I actually shaved the hole of the knob down a little bit with a razor blade as well to actually get it to fit.

I wasn't sure if this would work on our dryer since other places said it's not compatible with it, but thought I'd give it a try since it's much more reasonably priced than what I found elsewhere that were supposed to be compatible. The knob appears to be slightly smaller than the original, but this doesn't affect its performance. It does have the metal inside, and I'm using it as a control knob. Works great!

This was purchased to replace a broken knob on my dryer. It held up well for about six months and then cracked on the back the same as the original knob did. For the price, I still think it was worth it. Rather than replacing the knob a second time, we just use a pair of pliers instead.
