A total ripoff. Picture shows 1000 pieces. Description says 100. 1 received 73 pieces. They are also super small and will not fit the size of line they are supposed to. Stay away from this item.

Received item sold by Amazon shipped by Amazon and the little packet that holds the sleeves was opened and twenty of the sleeves loose in the bad and 50 of the sleeves were left in the packet and the Amazon bag was sealed shut .. the packet was obviously opened and obviously short changed sleeves and it was made to look like they just became loose in transit .. however on the back of the packet us a little circle sticker that is there to prevent this and ok if indeed the sleeves worked themselves out then why were they not loose with the others in the sealed Amazon bag. I read other reviews that picture is misleading says a 1000 piece but actually only get 100 pieces .. that was fine but the reality is only 73 pieces .. like all other comments go elsewhere.. this is upsetting to say the least .. believe the other reviews !! I was ok with 100 pieces at that price because free shipping but what I don’t understand is why go to all the trouble of making it look like they spilled out in transit when the outside Amazon shipping bag is sealed shut

First of all, I'm not using these for fishing. I am using them to make custom 3spd shifting cables for old Sturmey-Archer 3spd bicycle hubs.These are great, and consistent. Not a single bad one in the lot. The material is sturdy, and crimps well.I would have thought that these crimps were simple enough that any old crimp would be good enough, and I found out the hard way that it wasn't true . I purchased similar crimps by another seller, and had to send them back to Amazon. They were garbage.Buy these and you won't be disappointed.

I use these to make my own lures for bottom fishing and pelagic fishing. These are single body tubes that the wire can be doubled over and put through to make a closed loop so you do not have to buy anything else but these to do the 130 lb wire even if it's making a loop or a stop. Whatever you need it for these are perfect as far as the 130 lb wire goes.

Don't pay attention to these people that say “don't buy” only because they failed to read the description instead of just looking at the picture. AFW are the best in the business! They hold the line better than any other crimp, including the double barrels, and are easier to crimp because their walls are not as thick, they also do not clip off mono or fluoro when you attach them like the thicker crimps do. I use the the #2 .47 size on 25lb seaguar fluoro trolling all day every day from April to November and haven't had a single problem. My only problem is Amazon barely ever has them in stock anymore and they are crazy expensive on ebay.

The sleeves are ok. Same thing you can get at any fishing shop. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE PICTURE IS MISLEADING!!! It shows 1,000 pieces where the text correctly states 100 pieces. I have seen a LOT of questions about the picture... but it is still there (I can’t help but wondering why ithe picture wasn’t corrected when Someone first pointed out the discrepancy!!!) The sleeves are fine the available crimper works well with the sleeves.

These work very well to secure wire fishing line or leader. The only problem is finding sturdy crimping pliers that have a small enough crimp section to crimp them well. Because of the small size they require a point-to-cup style crimper.

Using these barrels with 30 lb. floro line. Two strands of line will just fit thru the ID of these barrels. The fit is exactly what I was looking for!

seem to be ok thought there where more as it looks like 1,000 in picture, my mistake.Item ok have used them all up making fishing droppers

The crimp sizes sold by Amazon are reasonably priced compared to the absurd price from other vendors. The sizes I bought (0.071 & 0.085) are thin wall and easy to crimp. For extra holding power you can crimp them twice, especially the 0.085 because their long. So far their all true with no burrs.

The 0.132 size (9) is thick wall and strong but hard to crimp. I would suggest buying the next size down if it will fit. If you crimp something with a much smaller ID, you can see stress cracks. The photo is misleading...shows a bag of 1000

Received today. Not what I expected. Not a proper rendition of the product. The photo lookslike you get more. Everyone READ the description! The seller needs to change photo to proper one of item.

Works great for making walleye stinger hooks. Used with 12lb line
