I purchased this for my son, who has incredibly challenging hair and nothing else has worked before. I am so happy to have found this pomade, it's organic so I feel safe giving it to him to use, it's got a great hold to it (not too stiff but definitely keeps his hair in place) and it doesn't leave you with a greasy feel which I love. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, clean, effective product that's affordable and locally made!

I tried this brand because it was recommended for those with sensitive skin and scalps. The amount received is smaller than other brands, but it has no scent, few artificial ingredients, and doesn't cause my skin to break out. It can look greasy if you apply too much, but it can lack hold if you apply too little. Easily softens and distributes in your hand for application. Certainly worth a try if you can't use other pomades due to skin sensitivity.

I had my expectations high on this product as I used pomades before, and they always seem to heavy on my hair. First glance at this pomade I really liked how there was some expatiation cards which informed that it is a natural process for the pomade to solidify. After a week of settling started to smell and spreads very nice and evenly throughout my hands. Hold pretty well and gives off a nice shine that is noticeable after a couple uses. I didn't have to use that much in order to get a nice hold, a little really does go a long way and washes off easily. I wish these products were more available in retail, but for $18 for 2oz is not bad considering it doesn't require that much.

As far as natural products go, this is great and with clean ingredients! Which nowadays is a lot to ask for from cosmetic products unfortunately.But at least for me, this is hard to wash off my hair. And I also feel like I absolutely have to wash this off at the end of the day because your hair is inevitably full of oils from the product. I use this for special occasions or big events when I need to style my hair sleekly and I know I am going to wash my hair afterwards anyways. This is definitely not my go-to daily hair styling product.

I have been trying to find a way to tame my frizzy hair. I thought I needed a smoothing serum. There are plenty of those but most of them are filled with chemicals and I cannot tolerate that. Nor the added perfumes. My hair was an embarrassing, frizzy mess. I bought this balm thinking it would help keep my hair in place after styling. It ended up doing more. I rub it on my hair before blow dying and it works better than any serum I've used. It contains all natural ingredients with a very soft, fresh scent. I have absolutely no problems with it as a sensitive person. My hair looks smooth and soft. Just don't use too much! Experiment and find what works.

I have thick, coarse, hair. I found that this cream provided brilliant shine, but practically no hold. It also made my hair and hands feel greasy. FWIW, to me the cream looks and feels like moderately hard beeswax. Have to rub between palms to get it a consistency suitable for application.

I don’t normally use product in my hair but recently got a shorter (collar bone length) hair cut with lots of layers. I prefer to wash, air dry and go, but my new style won’t allow it. I found that I can towel dry, add some pomade, and don’t have to do anything else for my hair to look good. I’m super happy that I took a chance on this brand/pomade since I really had no idea what I should be getting.The scent is very minimal and pleasant. The pomade weighs my hair enough without making it stiff or greasy. I like that the ingredients are organic.
