Beautiful, and great quality.
I really love this inkwell, it looks very nice, and is very nice. Real cranberry glass which was very surprising, it is reproduction cranberry glass, but that only means it's not antique, it still is real. Lid is great, and it stays shut, and it is pretty tight when it's shut and thats really nice. Holds plenty of ink. I really like this inkwell. Thank you so much!

Pretty. but lighter than photo
Photo looked like a darker, deeper red. Was a little disappointed that it was more of a standard red. But I will say that this little inkwell came packed securely! It was wrapped in bubble wrap, put into a cardboard box surrounded with shredded paper, wrapped in paper, and put in a padded envelope! No breakage here!! Still a pretty little bottle.

HORRIBLE!
I was so excited to receive this inkwell. Exactly what I had been looking for. I filled it immediately and began working. When finished, I replaced the cap and moved it to its spot. I did not turn it upside down or knock it over, mind you. Just picked it up and set it back down. Ink leaked out from the cap - not the cap you close but the fitting that the cap is hinged to. I lost half a bottle of ink trying to adjust or tighten the fitting which, cannot be done. It is permanently attached in a "skewed" position. I emptied the inkwell and threw it away. It was not in my possession for even an hour. So very disappointed. This should be advertised as "for decoration purposes only - not actually intended to hold ink."

It is a nice heavy glass inkwell
Lid does not seal. it leaks ink if you tip it. It is a nice heavy glass inkwell, and if the seal on the lid was better it would be 5 stars

Gorgeous Inkwell
Holds a full bottle of ink. Not only is it a beautiful addition to your desk, but the hinged top grasps so tightly I am sure I will have no problem with ink drying like with other inkwells!

Top does not close!!
The top of this container does not close tight!! This is an ink well!! Should close tightly!!

Very nice product
I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. I have examined it and thought that it was farly sturdy in design the only thing im am worried is that the hinge on the lid might break but only time will tell.
