Literally the best string on the market for low tuning
I have probably have tried every single string company you can possibly name or imagine seeking tone for death metal, specifically drop A on a six string guitar with a hardtail bridge and non-active pickups. Ive also tried their Slipknot version both types, the Trivium version, the non-artist series heavy cores; all sorts of Dunlop string options and this hands down, is the best sounding string set they sell to date for metal. I just drop the high E string off and play the .65 to .13 sizes. They last forever, they hold great tone, I have low end, I have high-end, I absolutely love the response and feel of these strings. I will probably never put any other strings on my guitar ever. Best Bang for buck and I will die on that hill 😤

Beefy guitar strings!
I was trying to find a set of strings for my 7 string guitar with a heavy bottom as I was trying to experiment with drop G tuning and they have been doing the trick so far. I love the play and feel of them and they stay in tune pretty well. I have a floating tremolo bridge which has its own set of challenges as it is a constant battle for precision tuning but they are as good as I was hoping. I loved them so much I decided to buy a few packs as it is recommended to stick with the same brand and gauge for maximum durability and stability.

Perfect feel for drop D.
Installed on my original Ibanez RG string. I bought right after a concert when Korn opened for Danzig got there first Album and the guitar. I won't put any other set on this guitar it sounds way better in drop D then with other sets I've used and tension is perfect 10s that bend like 7 or 8 s

Nice set of strings
Nice set at a reasonable, low price. They function as well as any guitar strings and tune easily. Overall, these are dependable strings that give a good sound. I’ve bought this brand in the past and they hold up. I was pleased to find them on Amazon and shipping was fast. They have a really decent sound and my granddaughter who is just learning says they are easy on her fingers.

Great for things other than Korn
I got a Solar 1.7PB and wanted it to be shreddy but tuned down a step. It has the Evertune bridge so I kind of gambled on the tensions, but their calculator shows even at standard tension strings this gauge set is OK with standard modules. So I put these on and hoped for the best. After setting it up in D standard with the 065 drop G I can report it plays gloriously. They feel like 9s for the most part, but the solar is 26.5" scale. I've been playing them hours a day for a couple weeks and they seem to be going strong. I read a couple reviews where people said they went flat fast, but I haven't seen any indication of that. Maybe they just need to wash their hands more? Either way these strings are great, and though I don't care about the Korn branding, the gauge and heavy core is perfect for shred setups down a step on 26.5" scale. In case you were wondering..

for those of us who like to get low and nasty
Whoa! The sound profile on these is wild! I just needed a chonkier string for the drop-A low-string on my 7-string Jackson (the original low-string it came with gets way to floppy when dropped to A). It didn't magically make my intonation better or work around the extra string length that I need but....what's this? Playing the octave fret shows an almost perfect A on my tuner, but sounds almost like a B to my ear. Then I plug in and start switching between the pickups which sound wildly different. The sound profile closer to the bridge almost sounds clean, but the pickup further away sounds d-d-d-dirrrrty. So much different than what I had before. Oh, we will be having fun with this......

Baritone-friendly
I love these on my 27" baritone guitar (ESP LTD M-7B HT) tuned to drop G. The chunky 65-gauge bass string is great for drop tuning while leaving the other strings light and bend-friendly. I was most concerned about string length on my baritone, happy to report that you do not need to worry about any strings not being able to reach furthest tuning peg. You get PLENTY of excess string, for you longer-scale length players.

Great for low tunings
Perfect for low tunings, I play in drop G# and thats probably as low as i would take them but tuning stability is solid and they feel great. Comparable to D'adario's in quality, ill be using these on my 7 string from now on. Highly reccomend
