LUTEC 38W 3500 Lumen LED Motion Activated Integrated Dual-Head Floodlight Outdoor with Motion Sensor, 5000K Daylight, Dusk to Dawn, Exterior Security Wall Light for Patio, Garden, Yard(White)

Install on my shop at the lake. This is my second Lutec light. It is easy to install, easy to adjust. The light is very bright and will work just fine on my rural garage. I played around with the sensitivity last night to adjust properly. It is not overly sensitive which is perfect for a rural setting. I don’t need falling leaves and wind to set it off. This is my second LUTEC product. The first one is 2 years old and still works fine. I think this is a great inexpensive product.

I like the LED brightness. It has many functions such as: Turns on automatically at night and off at dawn, an adjustable (distance) motion detection to turn on at night, an adjustable timer for how long you want the light to stay on when motion activated. You can use the functions that you want by easily adjusting the settings. You can turn off any of the settings and use it just from your wall switch to turn it on or off. It looks nice as a functional outside house light.

I wanted to like this light. Here are pros and cons;Pros; Very bright white light much brighter than other 3500 lumen units I have seen. 2) A snap to install.3) The metal housing is very robust. 4) For a bright light the unit is quite small in size. 3) Good adjust ability. 4) Many working modes (Dawn to dusk as well as constant on and regular on /off motion detect.Cons; 1) The motion sensor is sensitive but...it is aimed far left internally relative to the front. This means you must adjust the sensor head far to the right to sense straight on. This was a show stopper for me as foot traffic needed to be sensed to the right of the security light. 2) There is no warranty but some may question the real value of these.Please note that the sensing range is made for a subject moving perpendicular to the sensor. If you approach any of these in a straight line the distance is reduced.

This is a nice light. When you are setting the distance, you have to set it higher than you might think to get the distance effect. I gave up doing it myself and asked my son to help. That was easier that running back and forth. The timing is correct on all the settings. I have it under a covered porch and it works nicely. I would recommend.

I haven't had it very long but I like it really well. Very easy install and setup with nice bright lights. I also really like the adjustability of the lights so I got to aim them exactly were I wanted them to shine. Also picks up motion nicely. Seems to keep those darn deer away.

This is the fourth flood light I've purchased and they all are outstanding lights. I contacted customer support regarding a setup question and they promptly replied and took care of my question.

The brightness is great. Motion sensor not so great.

The product description states, "wide sensing angle of 180 degrees detects motion up to 0ft-59ft away". It neither detects 180 degrees nor anywhere near 59 feet away! It wouldn't come on for motion more than a 90-degree angle or further than 10 feet away! And I've tried two different LUTEC lamps.
