JJC 2-Pack FDA-EP10 Eyecup Eyepiece for Sony A6300 A6100 A6000 Cameras

I've recently started using m old Sony NEX-6 digital SLR for backpacking because it is very light (especially with a pancake lens) and takes much better photos than my cell phone. Problem was that the digital display is difficult to use in the sun so I end up using the eye piece. Often sunlight coming in from the side made using the eye piece difficult too. This inexpensive Viewfinder Eyecup does the job! It's soft and blocks out the sun. Highly recommend it!!

Fits my sony a6000 perfectly. It's a nice snug fit, Doesn't fall off. It was a breeze to put on, as you can imagine. Very comfortable on my eye too. I also used it with glasses on and it was still comfortable. I think it covers a tiny side portion of the viewfinder's sensor but it doesn't effect the performance. I'm very satisfied.

Eye Cup fits good with a tight snap retention and doesn't fall off easily. Excellent replacement for factory unit and soft enough to be pressed against eye glasses without scratching.

Fits my Sony a6000. Wish it was a little deeper, still have to cup my left hand between camera and face when outside.

My boyfriend recently got into photography so he needed these for his camera. They seem to be very durable. Soft and they’re very comfortable in use.

A little harder than the OEM but perfect fit and works great, these fall off constantly even if you buy genuine so its worth buying a generic version for a quarter of the price

Great fit on my Sony a6100

These are more comfortable than the stock eye cup and very secure when mounted on the camera. After 2-3 months of use, the one on my camera is starting to fall off more frequently so I've thrown the backup in my camera bag in case I end up losing the cup on a shoot. When that happens, I'll be sure to buy another pair since these are already lasting longer on the body than the stock Sony eye cup.

Purtroppo la conchiglia dell'oculare è facile da perdere perchè può staccarsi, soprattutto quando si mette e toglie la macchina dalla borsa o la si tiene a tracolla. Ne ho già perse un paio in questo modo. La macchina si può usare anche senza conchiglia, ma io, che uso gli occhiali, corro il rischio di graffiare le lenti, per cui preferisco averne una di ricambio nella borsa della macchina fotografica. Il ricambio originale ha un costo maggiore, questa lo sostituisce egregiamente e costa meno.

I lost the original Sony eyepiece whilst travelling recently, and knowing that the official Sony replacement is absurdly overpriced (£17, last I checked) I went on a little hunt for some cheaper alternatives, landing on this JJC one, mainly because the price for two is excellent and the soft, pliable silicone material the hood is made from, like the original Sony one. These two are packaged nicely by JJC and have a inspection/date card as well as well as a serial number included. I would say the eyepieces are basically as good as the Sony original I lost, and they snap onto the viewfinder nicely, with no wiggle. The silicone makes for a comfortable fit around the eye – it's like I never lost the original! Very impressed, and I think the price point is great.
