Perfect size for a general lower back ache, better and larger than most alternatives i could find. It holds the cold well (for far longer than the 15mins relief requires) and cools in a freezer to usable within 1 hour, but better at 2. If you play a contact sport, get the double-pack option. The strap is not adequate for torso/waists above circa 38-40 inches, but is suitable for strapping the pack to a limb. I'd have preferred to pay less, or have a better strap arrangement so it can be used on my back whilst moving. But this is well worth the money I spent.

Excellent Size for wrapping over knee, instructions work out perfectly for physio advice, ice 20 mins then leave 1 hour(which is how long it takes to get cold. Added advantage of using as a heat pad .

Excellent, much better than I expected. As I am recovering from shingles, the relief is unbelievable. Easy to keep applied to the affected area. A very good item. Well worth the price.

Bought as present for a relative who has a shoulder injury and also suffers from hot flushes so hopefully one way or another most conditions covered. She said the narrow packs last about an hour after taking out of fridge then she can swap to other one if needed? I know putting in freezer is recommended but I think these packs are best kept in fridges, I think they last longer when not " frozen". This is my personal opinion only.. The larger pack also really good to sit back against covered in tea towel / cotton pillow case? Just something between skin and pad. I would recommend on her feedback. Time will tell how the packs wear, if they fail or split quickly I will update post but so far very good.
