DianeD9009 Boar Reinforced Style Softy Brush

I initially got this brush to achieve the perfect ponytail for my daughter's hair but ended up using it for styling my hair as well! This brush is great for neat updos! My daughter has fine shoulder length hair and I have long (down to my bottom) thick hair. The boar bristles seem authentic and the brush is well made but I received it in red instead of green. In my opinion this brush is in no way soft, as its title mentions and if brushed on bare skin OUCH. Overall, it serves its purpose and is a steal for the price!

Of the many boar bristle brushes I've had, this one is the best at getting through my thick, fine hair to brush it out. It works well for updos and for just brushing before bed. I'm also waiting for one with the teeth farther apart from that door to door company, Fuller. I think I will like the wider spread of rows, though this one will work very well with someone who has far less hair. The whole soft thing, is that one side of the bristles are boar and the other side of the tuft are the reinforced boar, though this assumes that you are right handed. If you think any boar brush will be soft, think again and buy nylon.

Quality & Price is most definitely 5 Stars, but the photo is very misleading. There definitely should never be a photo with 2 brushes, when all they ship is 1 brush. This is a classic example of false advertisement, the US laws against this kind of false advertisement predate both Amazon & the Internet. I actually may re-purchase this item as I need more than what I ordered and price isn't an issue, but again this kind of advertisement is illegal. W? T? F?

I actually bought this as a dog brush. My dog is a bichon and he has real thin curly hair and this brush is perfect for him.

cost was good but found the bristles come out when using it on hair. nice weight and grip but would hesitate to rebuy

Sturdy before u start to use it, then the bristles fall off in ur hair, for the price its actually only "okay"...If I did it again Its worth the extra bucks for a good one

Giving this a 2 Star rating because#1-I was sent a Blue Brush versus the Green brush that was shownand#2- The Bristles were HARD not Soft as advertised.I was so angry I had already thrown in the garbagemy 10year old Soft Diane brush for this horrible wrong order.

My husband was a newbie to boar bristle brushes and was complaining of frizz and flyaways, so I grabbed this brush for him. He has very thick hair and he really likes it. Wonderful price!

Bristles are very hard and not recommended for fine hair. Description in ad was misleading. I returned brushes to Amazon and ordered medium boar bristles, which are softer and much more comfortable against my scalp.

The brush has more reinforcing than necessary. Plastic bristles are extremely hard and have a tendency to fall out. Very few boar bristles were used make this brush, if you're not carefully it will scratch your scalp.
