Thanks for the proactive and quick customer service.Original:I bought this for conference calls on my laptop and in-flight entertainment on planes because I don't like the cord. It is paired with a Bose QC35 in both use scenarios.The battery life is nowhere near the advertised length. On a full charge, it will last about 3 hours. On newer planes with USB charging, I can charge it while in use. But without a charging port, I would be SOL.There is a noticeable delay (about 1 full second) in audio transmission.The range is good, but it will not transmit audio from my headset back to the computer when I'm using it on conference calls (i.e. one way transmission only). This was not very clear in the description; not a complaint, but more of an FYI for other buyers.Overall, it's just okay.

Tried it with my new Bose Hearphone. Sound quality was poor. Audio was like being enclosed in an empty small room. It could not spread out. Not sure if I was using it correctly. But there was nothing to tweak. Please advise me.After exchanging to a new model:I would like to add my experience with this company - TaoTronics. They are a wonderful company. Because after this negative feedback, they voluntarily - with no question asked - offered to exchange another model (one with Tx & Rx). And this model works perfectly well!. The sound is almost like connecting my Bose Hearphone with BT directly to my Android Phone. Music is clear. No more muffled sound. I am eager to try it on my next flight with the movie in the plane.I would certainly recommend TaoTronics to my friends. And if there is a 6-stars I would certainly give this grading to TaoTronics.

My smart SONY TV did not have a bluetooth that was compatible with my headphones so I had to get this unit. I hooked it up to the headphone jack and the connected the micro usb plug on the unit to a standard usb outlet behind the TV. Now I do not have to worry about charging the battery in this unit. I turn it on (a bit of an inconvenience) when ready to watch TV and when done, I just switch off the TV set. The battery in the unit must drain out to zero over time, but the next time I switch on the TV and this box, it is ready to GO! Love it!

Worked excellently with my Kindle Fire, Samsung TV and even my older projection TV! Just plugged into the back of my Samsung with the single plug. Plugged into my cable box with the two prong plug that was provided. to access my old projection TV. Free to enjoy these devices without disturbing others. Walked around my basement while listening to my favorite show. Great while on the treadmill. The jury is still out on the battery life so I'll comment on that one later.

I am using this with a portable AM/FM radio that I have clipped to my waistband. If I turn my head so that part of my body comes between the transmitter and my bluetooth earbud, the signal will breakup. This is with less than 2 feet separating the two! Also I find that a full battery charge will only power the transmitter for 4-5 hours. So to sum up limited transmitting distance and limited battery life.Update 7/19/18 - The manufacturer read my review and sent me an updated version, at no charge. Having used it for about a month now I find it to be a much improved product. My main issue with the previous version was that my body would block the bluetooth signal if I turned my head. This unit does not exhibit this same issue. Also the battery life is significantly improved. Using it 1.5 - 2 hours a day, I find that I do not need to recharge it for at least 5 days. The great feature is that it can be used as either a receiver or transmitter. Meaning that you could plug it into your TV audio jack and listen via bluetooth headphones OR you could plug a set of wired headphones into this unit and listen to audio from your cellphone. Very happy with the product and the customer service, updated to 5 stars!

Ok, well first unit I received unfortunately was defective, but their customer service was excellent, and worked with me in short order to resolve the situation. When it was determined that the unit was indeed defective, they had a new one out to me in a week without me having to worry about RMAing/returning the bad unit. I already have a pair of Taotronics Bluetooth headphones that I love and this combination is a must for anyone who wants to listen to their TV at higher volumes without annoying your apartment neighbors or others in the house, and without having to setup/breakdown wireless headphone apparatus.Also, if you have a guitar or bass amp that you would like to hear louder without laying a bunch more money down on studio-quality headphones, this unit will turn your existing Bluetooth headphones into your instrument headphones.
