Fanatec Forza Motorsport Racing Wheel and Pedals Bundle for Xbox One and PC

Fanatec failed multiple times to honor extended warranty, stay away from purchasing this or anye of their other products. In the latest ticket they are stating that I need to wait 3 weeks for someone to even look at the support case! Complete lack of any customer service!! The Fanatec USA branch should be dissolved and anyone selling their products prosecuted !!

Simply amazing smoothness and force feedback strength and feel from a belt-drive wheel base. It’s as close as you can get to direct drive wheels (which aren’t even available for consoles) without actually buying direct drive. Excellent build quality, high-end materials, and almost feels like the real thing. Even the quick-disconnect is made of the similar solid aluminum parts as those found on real race cars. I currently use this interchangeably on Xbox One (Forza 7, Horizon 3, etc) and PS4 Pro (GT Sport, Dirt Rally, Dirt 4, WRC 7, Project Cars 2). Yes you heard that right; one wheel+pedal set for both consoles! It’s deisgned for Xbox One so it’s a direct connection, but for the PS4 I use an $80 DriveHub adapter from Collective Minds, which emulates a Logitech G29 wheel and was an easy plug-and-play out of the box. Workes great on both systems, though the force feedback on Forza 7 feels a tad better, but that may be due to the FFB programming in the game software rather than the adapter. Did I memtion it works for PC as well? Best steering wheel for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.As great as the wheel is, the Clubsport V3 Pedals it comes bundled with is the crown jewel of the whole setup. I’ve tried many pedal sets before but nothing is even in the same league as these Fanatec V3 pedals, especially with regards to the load cell brake pedal feel. If you already have a wheel you’re happy with, just add these pedals via adapter and you won’t regret it.This bundle is also available directly from Fanatec for the same price but also includes the Shifter SQ 1.5 whereas this Amazon bundle doesn’t. Why? Fanatec’s explanation is that it offsets the fees they have to pay to sell on amazon. Poor business model in my opinion. If a vendor has to pay fees to sell in a certain marketplace that gets wide exposure like Amazon, they should just pay them and not pass on the added costs to the customer! It’s the cost of doing business. The fact that you will sell more of these through Amazon especially when glowing reviews like this pop up, is worth the fees you pay. Not cool to charge the customer more than what you do on your site. Regardless of this, I bought from Amazon anyway simply because I have no need for a shifter at the moment and by buying through Amazon, I knew I’d have peace of mind and easy customer service with regards to any potential returns or refunds should I have any issues with the $1300 toy I just bought.

Very solidly built and lots of adjustability.ClubSport Wheel Rim GT Forza Motorsport Very well made and feels like a real cars steering wheel I would like to have a wheel like this in my own sports car.Combined on an Openwheeler racing stand/seat it all works together to give sim racing a much more realistic feel. There are very little plastic parts to worry about when you are driving hard. In fact I see no parts which are plastic other than switches, buttons and covers. You can thrash on this set up just like you would a real race car. My lap times have improved a lot on every track I was keeping records of with this setup compared to a hand held controller. My steering is more accurate, I can brake later, and get in the gas earlier. I can feel when I'm in the gas, brakes or steering too hard in time to correct myself. If you have been playing any racing sims or games using a standard Xbox One controller you are missing out. The force feedback is super strong but its pretty easy to adjust in the wheel setup in the games menu. The Fanatec bundle is expensive but it is built of quality parts. You can get a three pedal and wheel set up for half the cost with other brands but they will be made of cheap plastic and will likely not last long or have any adjustability. It is an amazing set up with some minor adjustments and mounting hardware improvements.The cons for which I can only give this a 4 star rating comes down to a very poor users manual. The Calibration and connecting procedures were not written for the specific bundle and used examples from a completely different wheel hub with a completely different button lay out. I ended up using google to find the correct Calibration and connect procedures. The mounting hardware to mount the pedal box to the stands pedal base was not that great. They included wing nuts to hold the pedals to the base which worked loose after a few races. I simply replaced them with new locking nuts and new bolts. I know they want to make the hardware as universal and easy so it wasn't nearly as big of a deal as the unclear Calibration and set up instructions. The plate where your heels rest on the pedal set also came loose after a few races. Easy fix with some loctite and a hex key. With a better users manual I would have given this set up a 5 star rating.

Bought it and wheelbase was broken off wouldn't work along with horrible grinding noise
