Great improvement in tone and no-buzz or hum. Good upgrade for any Telecaster.
Bought this to replace the stock ceramic single coil bridge pickup in a Squier affinity series FMT Telecaster. This pickup is a vast improvement over the stock ceramic pickup. Since this is a dual coil humbucking design it is far quieter than the stock pickup was. Install is fairly simple and everything fit right in without difficulties. I really like the fact that this pickup even though it is a humbucking design still gets you great single coil spank. Added benefit of no hum or buzz.

Great pickups!
I was presently surprised by these hotrail telecaster bridge pickups. They sound great clean and distorted with nice clarity and definition. Plus they look pretty cool as well. I would totally buy these again!

High E string not over the rail, not getting great signal
The pickup sounds really great, warm and punchy- except for the high E string, which is a little quiet. Acoustically, all the strings sound loud, but when plugged in and only with this pickup on, the high E is somehow weak. I'd say that the magnetic properties of the rails are not strong enough at the high E end. And because of the restrictive design of the bridge, you can't move the pickup laterally to get the string more on top of the rail. Giving three stars for the overall sound quality, but it's not perfect. If not for that one issue, I'd give it full stars. Maybe you won't have that problem with it.

Despite the low price tag it cooks
Super happy with this PU in my Tele. I have had the high end examples of this design in other guitars and I cannot distinguish this ones tone from those. This is a great sounding pickup and not just for the price but in total. I recommend it.

Normally I've had good luck with this brand but not this time..
Normally I've had good luck with this brand but not this time, output is very weak, and tinny. The neck pickup has 3 times the volume as this does. Even if I connect the pickup directly to a cable, by passing the switches and pots. I think it's internally shorted unfortunately.

Turn your budget guitar into a shredder with these surprisingly great cheapo pickups
I play in a thrash metal band and being a broke bastard, had to pawn my Gibson for a few weeks. In the meantime I had a show coming up so I ordered these and put them in a $120 Donner telecaster ripoff. I’ve never been more impressed with the results of such cheap gear. If you’re trying to mod a nice guitar. Spend the extra money for Seymour Duncans but for a budget guitar these pickups will blow the tinny sound of stock pickups away

Great simple upgrade for a budget tele guitar.
Put one in a Fender Squier Bullet Tele, easy to do and really upgraded the sound. Sounds like a mini humbucker and gets rid of the twang a bit.

Best Hot Rail on Amazon
I put pickups in guitars daily. I've tried them all. Cheap, expensive, ceramic, alnico, you name it. I put this in a customer's Tele and it blew me away. Its better than the Seymour rail I had in a Tele of mine. It just sounds good. No need to spend $100+ on one that you may not even like the sound of. This thing is fire
