The adhesion seems adequate, though I’m sure it’s not as sticky as the tenacious stickum that I had to practically chisel off to remove the broken OEM digitizer. Installation is a PITA. Luckily I’m handy, have replaced several screens before, and was smart enough to take breaks when I got frustrated. Once again Amazon asks me to rate “sheerness”. Well this thing is pretty sheer. You can see right through it. To wrap up, my wife is happy that her iPad no longer has a web of cracks in its screen. No complaints, is working as it should.

Our iPad was for our kids and if it wasn't an old iPad mini 2, I would've paid the extra money to get it installed. Its not so much that its hard to install its the fact that you'll deal with a lot of glass and it can be very easy to scratch the lcd underneath. It was pretty simple to find videos on how to change this on Youtube. Our screen was cracked pretty bad which meant a lot of loose small glass pieces everywhere. Even when I was super careful, glass seemed to get everywhere. Also a pain to not touch the LCD. The video was right, once you touch it, no matter how well you clean it, it will never look the same. Pro tip: make sure you line up the LCD straight once you put the digitizer back onto the device as its easy to set it in slightly crooked with the new adhesive. Its for my kids, so not a big deal to me, but it would save you on having to open it back up again.

Screen doesn’t work as well as I like. But it works. Home button only works two thirds of the time. And scratches easily.

Works great! This was the 3rd screen I'd tried - first from this seller. The other 2 I purchased were defective - I was quite happy to find a vendor with a good product! It's pretty easy to replace - the only difficult part is removing the old one - only took me less than an hour in total to do the swap. Pro tip (from not-a-pro) - make sure you remove ALL the old adhesive from your ipad with a quality adhesive remover and clean the area with isopropyl alcohol, or the new screen will not stick.

The digitizer works perfectly. It comes totally ready to connect with all exposed metal sensors taped up properly. It also comes with the one warning that all first-time repairers need to know: make sure the flex cable is tucked forward. If you close it up with the cable sticking to the adhesive on the screen, it will ruin the digitizer. All in all great product.

After I took an hr to install this unit, I find out the button does not click or work. No feedback. I write them, and tell them this and they say there is no warranty. Now I have an ipad with a replaced screen with no working Home button. Was told to buy another unit at half price to replace mine, and it is my responsibility to test the new unit. They also told me that if you install it, and it doesnt work, and if anything is installed, no returns. The screen also tape that is not strong enough to secure it to the ipad itself. There is also no instructions at all to install the unit. There are no tools included. There is a card that tells you to contact them if you are not happy, which I did, and they did nothing for me and told me basically I was on my own. I had to get amazon involved and start an az claim. Think carefully if you want to buy this unit without tools, instructions, warranty or customer service or pay a few dollars more for another brand/merchant. -- It states OEM adhesive- I doubt OEM adhesive is cut haphazardly and has no real thickness, I had gaps all around the top and sides of my ipad because the tape was not strong or thick enough. The adhesive is NOT 3m or brand name, it is >1mm thick and cut unevenly and even pasted together on spots around the perimeter of the ipad. No real standard. Its not just me with HOME button problems, read the other ONE star reviews. Dont get caught into the trap.

Screen is as expected - however it got an immediate hairline crack during very careful installation. Will spend more money next time in hopes of a less flimsy glass.

Good adhesives, screen looks and works great. Didnt use any of the tools as I already have better, but a decent set included. Would buy again.

Very good replacement part. I was a little wary when ordering, not knowing about the quality compared to other brands (if they do come from differents manufactures), but it is in fact of very high quality. This was my very first repair of an iPad and the ony difficut part was removing the badly shattered glass that I was replacing. Putting back the new one was very easy and the fit is perfect. I didn't experience a problem with the product but the supplier provides an instruction card and it looks like they stand behind the product. The iPad now looks brand new and I must say I'm totally satisfied!

changed, tested before adhesion worked great. Adhered… didn't work had to pull back off, resulting in worse crack than was there before.

There screens r awesome not cheaply made I recommend them I fix a lot of broken screens and Thea’s ones r the best I have used
