Mike, I've found this device most effective for biceps and triceps training. But you can definitely use it to work your chest (pectorals). A couple of sets of dumbbells (providing you have a bench you can lay on) will be more effective--along with aerobic exercise--to eliminate "man boobs". However, this device will work no matter whether you are standing, seated or flat on a bench. Hope that helps!

To the best of my knowledge I am storing the product, in a somewhat closed position. I wish I could arrange it to the position it ws in, when I received it. There must be a reason why it was shipped in that position.
