Does everything I expected and well.
This BDT270 replaces a BDT220. It is my window to NETFLIX, primarily. Plays all DVDs that NETFLIX has sent, so far and provides high quality streaming of standard movies. To date, however, the seller has not answered my requests for warrantee info. Unable to warrantee it with Panasonic. Hank 8/11/19

Doesn't play 4k dvds.
I bought this to be able to play 4k DVDs along with some PAL ones that I have acquired over time but to my surprise this is only a blue ray player that upgrades to 4k. If you're not looking to play 4k dvds then I would recommend it...
