Used to use this years ago & recently needed a body oil to wear in mosquito territory & remembered how good this is at moisturising whilst subtly barring the little biters. Forgotten about the lovely fragrance - will be my go-to from now on.

I’ve always wrinkled my nose at the thought of putting “dry oil” on my skin. Firstly, because it’s just a contradiction in terms. How can oil be dry? Surely it’s grassy and oily? Actually it isn’t. It’s exactly what it says it is. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t stain or mark your clothes, is easily absorbed and leaves your skin as soft as a babies bot-bot without the greasy stickiness of baby oil. However, the reason I bought it is because several friends said it’s the best mozzie repellent on earth and I get eaten alive every year if I so much as say I’m thinking about booking a holiday, never mind actually going on one. Well I was a tad skeptical as you can imagine but I’ve got to admit this stuff is nothing short of miraculous. Usually I return from the med every summer with my body converted into one massive mozzie bite but this year, I came back with one small nibble on the back of my neck. That’s right peeps. ONE. I don’t know what it is Avon (which I usually can’t stand) puts in this stuff but keep it coming. You can keep your smelly Buzz Off and Jungle Formula. This stuff smells girly and delicious and keeps my skin soft whilst repelling the critters. Good times. Have restocked for my next hol in September.

Like the perfume and feels nice on the skin. Readily absorbed. Supposedly repels midges but I still rely on Deet! It does solidify in low temperatures but simply needs warming up to revert to liquid.

Got this to add on top of mosquito repellent and it worked a treat also helped to cover the smell off the repellent! Gave your skin a nice glow all whilst protecting against the nasty bites!

Easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling very soft. Bought it after being told it does help against being bitten by mosquitoes. I've been using it daily for the last 3 weeks whilst in Thailand. I have had about 3 bites but not one has reacted as bad as I normally react. My husband has had far more bites than he normally gets and he's been using citronella spray. This oil is far nicer to use than 'proper' insect repellents. It's obviously not 100% effective but I will use it again. Great value for money. Non oily and not sticky.

I mainly bought this after reading that it’s a secret prevention from mosquito bites. And I truly believe it saved my holiday in turkey, as I’m usually attacked regularly by bug bites but I survived the week bite free! The smell is lovely and the product is light weight and leaves your skin glowing! And a little goes a long way so the bottle may not be big but won’t run out quickly!

It smells lovely it hydrates the skin and it is not greasy. However, I have used 3 bottles now and, every time, the pump breaks about 1/3 of the way through. This means that you need to use it as a regular oil, rather than an oil spray, which ends up being messy and making it very expensive per use.

I bought this dry oil spray as an everyday moisturiser, mainly looking for something lightweight that wouldn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin. Texture & application The spray format makes it very easy to apply evenly, especially on arms and legs. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that heavy or sticky residue you sometimes get with oils. How it feels on the skin It leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated without being overly shiny. It works well after a shower and is comfortable enough to use daily without feeling like you’ve got product sitting on your skin. Scent The scent is quite noticeable — clean and slightly sweet. I personally liked it, but it may not be for everyone, especially if you prefer unscented products. Everyday use It’s convenient for quick use when you don’t want to spend time rubbing in thicker creams. I’ve found it particularly useful in warmer weather when heavier moisturisers feel too much. It won’t replace heavier creams for very dry skin, but for regular use it does the job nicely.

My mom sold Avon when I was growing up and still raves about the bug repellent factor. Mosquitoes have been terrible this year so I decided to give it a try. I love it! It makes my skin soft, smells great, and really does repell bugs! I have psoriasis so I sprayed these areas specifically and it was an immediate soothing relief. My dog has dry, irritated spots, and scratches constantly. I sprayed it on him and he has been silent! No scratching!

Lotion smells good, very good feel and coating! I always like Avon because of the pest qualities it affords by repelling bugs all the while providing a plus protection!
